thursday

morning everyone, just about to set off for work.
Busy day today, have some visitors for Chris's b/day then he's going to his friends at tea time.
Hoping the dogs are ok today, have been feeding them pumpkin, Kwame was disgusted to be offered it for his breakfast.
Parents coming to stay whilst we are away to care for Jerry, and that has to be it folks.
See you later and looking foward to the quiz.

Re: thursday

Morning Shelley and all to pop in later. Another gloriously sunny day here, wall to wall blue sky. OH has taken Monty over the fields and will be off to golf later.

We went to our pub reopening last evening and it was packed. I am always amazed at village "dos" just how many people live here. The pub is lovely, has a very nice atmosphere and the owners and manager all seem friendly and had put on a generous range of nibbles and first drink was on the house. I do hope that it is a success - if in the future we have to rent out MIL's annexe to raise funds to pay for her care, having a pub so close will be a big plus especially as they are doing food. We did leave early though and went to dog training. Monty had an attack of the squealing at the start and gave in completely at coming to call through temptation alley - he actually ran off with one of the food containers!!!

More gardening for me today I think. Hope all have a good day and hope to see you at the quiz this evening.

Gentle chin tickles for all Catsey cats from me today.

Re: thursday

afternoon all, off work today as my brains not functioning properly! seems i have taken a reaction to the anti-biotics i was on for my tooth abscess, which i found odd as i have had them a couple of times before. started feeling lightheaded, dizzy, unsteady on my feet, finding it hard to keep my concentration, slightly disorientated. went to drs yest and she suspected the ab's and right enough when i researched at home a lot of people have experienced similar. such a horrible feeling, and never thought id say it but i hope its worn off in time for work tomorrow!

sorry to hear all the animals are a bit upset shelley and happy birthday to chris.

jungles abscess seems to be starting to heal up and no nasty smell, although shes in my bad books as i went to pick up my washing pile and shed dirtied and wee'd in it!! just aswell shes out when i found it!

Re: thursday

Sorry to hear you are still feeling poorly Lynz - b****y antibs - good when they do what they should, but not when they cause reaction. The tabs I had to take a while ago give me stomach problems so I have to take another pill so that I can keep taking the antibs!

Bad Jungle - just what you don't want when you are feeling under par.

Hope you will be feeling up to the quiz later on?

Re: thursday

Hope the ABs are out of your system soon and you're feeling back to normal Lynz.

Went to Basingstoke this morning (I know how to live the high life ) hospital blood test and then went to Hobbycraft for buttons, toy stuffing and OH bought some art supplies. We also nipped across the road to Staples for a few sundries and decided to buy quite a few books of stamps while there in anticipation of the forthcoming price increase, saved queuing up at the Post Office for them.

I'm just about to do some work on a rainbow crochet caterpillar, I need to make 14 little feet in black and I want to try to get them done while there's such good light quality, don't like working in black during the evening, can't see the stitches clearly enough!

Re: thursday

Afternoon

Today I helped finding a friend's dog, who ran away yesterday, when she was attacked by another dog.

She's only 10 months old, and a little westie.

We found her, and she seems to be okay, pheeew. Owner had been out looking for her more or less since yesterday afternoon. Just popped home to feed the other dogs, and let them out.

I'm totally knackered now
