Laugh for the day

Well I went with Sal today to Newhall Valley Country park and I took my Dad with me because he wanted some fresh air and has a OAP Walker thing you know chairs wheels etc. So he could potter on the flat and have a cup of tea (flask) while I was out and about anyhow I came back to find tears rolling down his face, apparently after I had gone he was sitting in the back of he car (planning his escape I suspect) when a couple approached with two "brown dogs"

they opened the car boot/door it was a a 4x4 with a door that opens like a house ad apparently the chap tried for about 5 minutes to get the dog tojump into the boot even to the extent of getting in himself and the trying to ecourage the dog in....the dog apparently took no notice and found even a leaf more interesting than the chap, after a good 5 minutes the woman got out of the passenger seat and picked the dog up putting it in the boot............then guess what the chap started all over again with the other dog who had by all accounts being paying no attention at all to what was required just lying on the blanket already out down by the couple the dogs were not old according to my Dad and well behaved.

even getting in the back again and in the front seat and calling over. Again this was sorted by the woman walking over and putting the dog in the boot.

My Dad said neither spoke to each other and the chap was not miffed or angry he just kept trying and did not even speak to the woman she she picked the dog up. My Dad said the lady just looked resigned to the trying.

Nowt as queer as folk.
