Rhubarb Thursday

Morning all! Waiting for the rain to let off a bit before going to pull some rhubarb, hence the title.

Monty and OH are back from their morning walk, very wet. OH is off in a short while for a golf lesson - he's out playing this week, so has all his waterproof gear packed.

Some laundry and housework for me today and perhaps some more old photo sorting this afternoon. Can't make up my mind what to do with some of the photos. Do I get a new album, or do I scan them into the computer (would take ages) but then I could get them printed in a photobook - but would the quality be good enough? Decisions, decisions and while I am trying to decide I find I am putting things off ................ hmmmmmm!

Emma - I do hope that your mum is comfortable?

Am I right in thinking that we've put off this week's Quiz???

Have a good day folks, lots of Catsey cat cuddles from me.

Re: Rhubarb Thursday

Afternoon Angie, afternoon everybody else.

Angie, what are your plans for the Rhubarb?

Not visiting mum today going to go tomorrow, hoping that dad will pop over on his way back and update me. Going to see her tomorrow.

A bit of good news we passed the RSPCA home check and will be picking up Hope tomorrow, we are going to change her name....not sure to what yet, we like Sophie.

I am hoping what with everything going on that she will be a bit of a good omen....

Haven't done much today, husband has been painting the dining room.

got sausage and liver casserole for dinner tonight...should be good with some mash...

Have a good evening everybody x

Re: Rhubarb Thursday

Emma - going to lightly stew the 'barb with some elderflower cordial to have on breakfast cereal. I don't like "nude" cereal!

I think Sophie sounds like a really good name!

I am planning a pasta bake for supper, it makes me feel warmer just thinking about it. Sausage and liver casserole with mash sounds beautifully warming too. Do you ever do cassoulet?

Thanks Shelley for confirming about the Quiz.

Re: Rhubarb Thursday

We are having a lovely sunny day up here in Inverness, been doing "pet stuff " today. Got food, a toy, some cat litter. Picked up Tiger's meds, worming tablets and booked the cat's respective check-ups along with Lester's boosters. Although did get a bit of a fright as on Lester's notes it stated that the vet had given him his Felv and then the boosters instead of just the second shot. I was unamused to say the least. Anyway it turms out it was a typo. Hope everyone has a great day.

Re: Rhubarb Thursday

Right, that's stopped me faffing about .... I've ordered two rather nice new albums each will contain 300 photos and the sleeves are acid-free. Good job, just twiddle my fingers until they arrive ... not until next week.
