Re: watermelon sunday

Morning Pamela ...... and those to come later. So glad that you have got sunshine for your day out and hopefully for your bike riding tomorrow. It's another grey cold day here on the south coast. My little tomato plants are really struggling in the greenhouse, which I don't heat. Still feels like winter here atm.

Emma - I hope that you find your mum comfortable when you visit. Sending loads of good wishes. I was so impressed by Kazz's description of how sick people and non-sick people feel and just have to stumble on ... such an accurate description in my experience. Usually these feelings are just shoved under the carpet.

Chicken curry tonight - it's cold enough for it to be a very welcoming thought.

Have a good day peeps - more warm Catsey cat cuddles from me. Nothing like a nice cuddly cat on your lap, purring away.

Re: watermelon sunday

Morning all.

Reading the posts about the differences in the weather maybe this year the Summer has decided to start North and move downward

Pamela enjoy your day the lunch meet sounds brilliant. In fact so much so I may go out myself.

Angie poor toms, have you seen Kizzy's double in Emma's Sophie?

Its a ice day here not too warm but sunshine overhead. In fact I think I am going out, give the car a good run out too.

Have a good day all see you all later or tomorrow

Re: watermelon sunday

Hi all,
Emma, hope your Mum is comfortable and things improve for her.

The Summer certainly hasn't got this far yet! I did manage to weed the veg beds and go for a run but got rained on doing both. Tolly was helping me garden so the beetroot I sewed today will be growing in a fairly random pattern. Everything seems behind and the broad beans and peas are usually further along than this!

Hope everyone had a nice day.

Re: watermelon sunday

evening everyone
Had a nice time at the doll and pram fair although i didn't make many sales. The fair was mostly for people who reborn baby dolls so there was lots of ladies pushing huge silver cross prams around with a baby (doll) in. Most customers weren't interested in the antique/vintage playthings.

Re: watermelon sunday

Evening all, just got back from London visiting mum with Martin my brother and sister in law.

Mum looked a bit better gvh rash looked better and she tried to open her eyes when we left, small steps at the moment.

My sister in law was totally shocked and very upset after seeing mum, she said nothing could have prepared her for seeing mum and te condition she is in.

Just had some dinner and relaxing infront of the tv, Sophie is currently exploring lol

Have a good evening everybody
