life and it's many twists and turns

Just thought I pop on and say hello! It's been a few weeks since I was here I think. Life has changed as I have now been in my new job for four weeks - its not the same as my old job but I have a job which is the main thing.

Mum had her op on Tuesday and she is now at home. I was up there this morning and she seems to be doing well. She did go through one bad day after the op, as I think realisation of what happen has finally hit her.

I have sold my house and offered on another, just going through the mortgage application today. I am hoping to be moved around August or september time. It's a nicer house, bigger, with parking which will be luxury after all these years of fighting for a piece of road to park on!

Just off out again now as OH is cooking dinner for me tonight at his house!

Hope u are all well!

Hello Donna, I'm pleased your Mum seems to be doing well after her operation and I hope she continues to improve.

Hopefully you will settle into your new job soon, it will take time after being in your last job for so long.

Good news that you have sold your house and in the process of buying another ....it sounds lovely and what better time to move in than the summer! Looking forward to hearing how everything goes for you .....

Enjoy your meal tonight!

Lol happy writing

Sale wasn't that quick, house on market January and sale agreed April. It's just that we know how the market works so know how best to get it sold! OH is not selling his, we are going to rent it out so that we have an investment for the future, well that's the plan anyway!

Mum is still doing well, my sister called today and we are going to try to arrange a lunch out at one of her fav places in July as it is mum and dads fiftieth wedding anniversary, and we can celebrate that plus celebrate mum getting over the biggest hurdle of her life! All the family will attend, me and my two kids, sister and her four and brother and his four!

Oops nearly forgot, we had beef bourginnon. Which I can't spell!
