Shelley hope you have a good visit with your new Basenji aquaintance.
Angie - whatever happened to Monty's - cat test - have I missed it?
J - hope you feel a bit better now?
Emma - hope your Mom is good and hows the decorating coming on?

To everyone else - sorry just to tired - hope you all have a good weekend. I am off to bed.

Re: Saturday - made it

morning everyone

Kazz i hope you manage to get some sleep
Shelley, enjoy your day with your visitors

I have had 2 very noisy cats this morning they seem to be fighting alot more just now which is a bit worrying and now Harris is limping a bit on his left leg so will need to keep an eye on it. We are tiling the kitchen floor today so got lots to do to get organised for that!!

Hope you all enjoy your day x

Re: Saturday - made it

Morning! Today is our DIL's due date for giving birth, I wonder how long the little one will keep us all waiting? Everyone I know who has had babies lately have gone way over their due date. We'll just have to wait and see, he won't come till he's ready!

I got a couple of nice bargains yesterday for when they stay here with baby, a changing mat that was half-price as it had last year's design on it, and a lovely fleece blanket that was way below half-price as it was ex-display and very grubby (in the washing machine at the moment!)

Saturday papers have just arrived and the coffee's ready, so that's me sorted for the next hour or so. Have a lovely day!

Re: Saturday - made it

Morning all - how lovely to see so many posts on the daily thread.

Not a bad day here, dry, breezy but patches of blue. Need to clean the bathroom today. Had an email to say my steam mop will be delivered on Monday, so if I manage to get the rest of the bathroom clean, I can get to doing the floor straight away when it arrives ..... and I've read the manual .... can't wait! Little things and all that.

Kazz - sleep well. It wasn't Monty and the cat test, it was a rescue lurcher. I'll look up the thread and post it, think it may have been in a daily.

Shelley - enjoy your visitors. Isn't it a coincidence that your Basenji friends are also doll fans??? Spooky that!

Pamela - I hope Harris' leg is OK - I've posted in your other thread.

CS - poached egg muffins! Lovely. Hope you are pleased with your hair cut.

MrsH - I can smell that coffee, I'll be round in a jiffy!!! Fingers crossed for the delivery of your new grandchild, hope all goes well.

If I have time, I also have some tomato plants to pot on in the greenhouse. And MUST order some Nemaslug - never seen so many slugs and snails. Disgusting and potentially dangerous for Monty too (lungworm).

Sausages, mash and onion gravy for supper tonight - what are you all having?

Enjoy your day peeps!

Re: Saturday - made it

Hi Angie, we must have posted at the same time. Yes i agree it's lovely to see such a lively thread, been a bit quiet here lately.
Steam mops, brilliant, unfortunately ours is out on loan to my auntie so i had to use a traditional mop.
Yes it's strange that our new friends collect dolls, Margaret is also interested in driftwood, shells and pebbles. It was a completely chance meeting

Oh! that's putting it mildly we just have to be patient, Mother Nature has her own timescale both the mum-to-be and her brother were 10 days late so we're prepared for a bit of a wait!
