Morning again

Yes another morning has arrived.

Yesterday lovely weather this morning looks a little overcast/hazy but could clear up.

See you all later. Mrs H I think this is a good day to have your grandbaby arrive.

Re: Morning again

Yuk - I have a sore throat and headache. Despite the daily berocca, I have succumbed to Sebi's bug However, the sun is shining and my mood is slightly lifted by the sunny weather.

Apart from that - nothing much of any consequence to report!

Re: Morning again

Afternoon Kazz, Yola and those to come along .....

It was overcast here when I got up but the sun has come out and it is another hot day here. OH has gone off to play golf - I really am beginning to feel like the "golf widow".

I've done something I don't often do this morning - tacked up a pair of trousers that were too long and I have realised one reason I don't do it is that my eye sight is rather poor for such close work. I was going to have my sight tested earlier in the year but am putting it off until I can have it done free ............. OH and I are going to lunch with friends tomorrow and I wanted to wear something cool and a bit better than the jog pants I usually wear at home. Nothing like a bit of motivation!

Monty Bogle is a hot boy and doesn't seem to be able to make good choices like the cats do - go and lie in the shade I tell him, but he doesn't listen and keeps walking about looking hot and lost of course because his daddy is not here.

Are we quizzing tonight peeps????

Have a good day folks.

I wish! Mum-to-be had a "sweep" today to try to get things moving and Plan B is that she now has an induction booked for next Thursday (31st?) if nothing has happened by then. The encouraging news is that there is no medical record of anyone ever having had a 10 month pregnancy

She's not that many days overdue, it's just that this heat wave is a bit much for her. However, at least their Victorian house is nice and cool inside so she just doesn't go out unless absolutely necessary.

I haven't been out with the dog yet today as I had an early hospital appointment (just the regular check-up with the rheumatologist) and it was sooo hot by the time we got back. He'll get a nice walk out this evening by which time things will have cooled down.

Re: Morning again

wonder web, yes i remember that from the 70's. I tried my hand at sewing clothes but soon realised i hadn't got what it takes
Re the Quiz, we decided to leave it until next week Angie, if you remember as i am out with my cousins and Pamela is doing overtime.
I can do the questions next week and then i will need leave of absence again as we are going to Scotland.
Lynz, hope Lola is a little better and not hurting
Yola sorry to hear you're not feeling too well
Nice morning at work, then home for a dog walk and some jobs
