Ford Capri Friday

afternoon catsey people.
Been to work this morning, it went better today than yesterday i'm pleased to say.
It's my Mum's birthday today so we will be taking her presents over later, then looking foward to a quiet night in.
Angie and CS, so far Jerry hasn't shown any interest in the litter tray, think he's a bit embarrased that it's Fushia pink, lol. It was the only one the shop had.
Seriously though we are managing his problem by me taking him into the garden at regular intervals, i just have to avoid him wetting me sometimes on the way out. If he wets the floor it doesn't realy matter as we have no carpets. It's a small price to pay to have him with us.

Re: Ford Capri Friday

Afternoon - a flying visit as I'm at work and trying to get through stuff as it's Friday! Dominik had his grade 2 piano exam this morning - I hope it went well as he was a complete nervous wreck during grade 1 in the early part of the year. I did a Classic FM school run request for him this morning which embarassed him hugely but also made him smile (result)!

Not sure what's planned today - this evening, apart from a bit of reading for Sebi I think I'll let the boys kick back and do nothing very much . . . they've both worked so hard this term and even though next week is the last week of term I think they deserve to chill

Re: Ford Capri Friday

Afternoon Shelley, Yola and those to come later.

Just started raining here, so I've come in from the garden where I was sort of sitting and sort of playing with Monty in a companionable sort of way!

Shelley - glad today at work was better. Happy Birthday to your Mum. I understand about the pink litter tray, my poor Merlin used to suffer from us having a pink cat carrier; but the carrier is still going strong and clashes terribly with Pip's ginger fur, the only animal who likes it is Kizzy!!!

Yola - I hope Dominik was OK with his exam, I didn't hear your dedication sadly this morning, although I am a Classic FM listener. Can't believe that it will be the last week of term next week - will have to check whether it is so for schools in this area, as it influences where we go walking with Monty! State schools may be a bit later.

We've had a busy morning - clearing out the dresser in our sitting room and moving OH's mum's dresser in it's place as it's much nicer quality. Still got to put everything back. Our gardening man was here this morning and helped OH move the dresser as too heavy for me. The old one, which was a flat-pack, has been broken up to go to the tip.

Because we'd worked so hard, we treated ourselves to lunch at the pub across the road. Very nice but of course we are now too sleepy to put everything back ....... still, there's always tomorrow!

Have a good day peeps.

Re: Ford Capri Friday

Afternoon all sort of sussed out my self, seems to have gone fast the last week but it always does on holiday. Back to work tonight.......Got my interview date for college next Friday 5th July. Apparently a formality......will also find out about any funding going and hours of course their idea of fulltime is 15 hours....but that of course does not include any essays etc(I imagine) so workign out how many hours I want to work at work.....while doing this will be going part time but how far dow the part time route I am not sure....as it will impact on households finances. But doable.

Shelley glad work was a little better today and glad Jerry is still good.
Yola - Sure Domi's exam went well seems only minutes ago you were thinking of piano classes.......wher has time gone.
Angie.....Nice treat, pub lunch. So you have a new dresser.....

Re: Ford Capri Friday

No rain here yet, but it's gone very cloudy and grey it's been windy all day and I don't know if that was a factor but Morgan wasn't good on his walk today.

He easily loses concentration and having 2 labs barking at him from behind their garden gate when he stopped for a poo didn't help, especially as I was all thumbs trying to tie up the poo bag and he started dancing and barking back Then he saw his springer chums coming back from the woods and was straining to get to them, we crossed over the road to thwart him but it took a long time to get him focused enough to sit at the kerb first. Fortunately the springers' owner is a very sensible lady and she held her 2 back until Morgan had regained some composure. It's very embarrassing especially as her boy is half Morgan's age and twice as well-behaved

I so wish that people could see the soppy, laid-back, sofa-hugging, lazy boy that he is indoors they only ever see the nutty hooligan

Molly cat has been behaving oddly, she's taken to sitting in the bathroom window, very odd - it's not as if she can see through the opaque glass! If anyone goes in there she hops down into the tub, hops out onto the floor and runs off. I wish I could understand them!

Um, Kazz, 5th July is Thursday .......... just check your interview date! I only questioned it because I've just made a Schnauzer walk date for Wednesday 4th.
