Re: Mini Wednesday

Afternoon Kazz, Shelley and all to follow.

I remember my little Merry Mini very well - my first car. Blue it was - really liked it. Thinking about changing my car sometime and would like the new style mini ........ bit more expensive than the £250 I paid for mine in about 1973! Not a Cooper though, couldn't have afforded the insurance!

Well it's really fuggy today - humid and a bit steamy and was raining earlier. We've been out and bought a new coffee table and a desk/dressing table, will be delivered on Friday. Just wanting a sort of console-type table for the kitchen - has to fit in behind the door and to store extra bits and bobs such as the bread maker and baking pans. Can't quite decide. Cupboards would be more practical but don't want it to look like a sideboard/too heavy. Will keep looking.

Off to agility in a while. Back later.

Have a good day folks.

Re: Mini Wednesday

Loads of ironing done today, just about to take Morgan out for a short afternoon walk. He's off to the groomer's tomorrow so he'll be having a bath later on after his tea.

I saw a bit of blue sky and a glimpse of sun today, such a shock!

Re: Mini Wednesday

Evening all..mad day today...morning at work and then the afternoon off to take Arthur to the vets, he has got an anal glad cyst, vet said they are common in dogs but never treated a cat for one. He has to stay in overnight, he had one last month and the vet thought it was a cat bite, as they hadn't gone out we blamed Sophie, thought she had done it again and would have to consider rehoming her so I am so glad it wasn't her. I have gotten quite attached to her

Re: Mini Wednesday

It absolutely poured with rain at agility class - Monty and OH got soaked right through. Luckily I had a bit of shelter and an umbrella. Monty was such a good boy though, he jumped his best, he only had one "off piste" moment and he caused merriment by taking shelter in the tunnel and not wanting to come out.

Home and dry, OH had to go out to his volunteering at obedience classes (9 puppies in the first class now) and Monty and I cuddled up to watch Midsommer Murders!

Re: Mini Wednesday

Home guess what its raining again. Lovely meal though looking forward to my holiday with Morag as I really think we could end up being lifelong friends after this holiday -
rather than work friends+.

Shelley I hope you had a good day at work.

Angie pleased you found a little shelter.....I am with Monty I would have been in the tunnel too, so is the renting out of the ensuite going ahead?

MrsH go immediately to the opticians and do not pass go....sun indeed.

Emma...glad it is not Sophie to blame.......and sure Arthur will be fine. Does the vet think it will keep happening.

Holiday paid for hope the rain eases off and I am not able to step from the front door straight onto the cruise ship......rather than build my own Ark.
