Skoda Fabia Saturday

Now i wonder why i picked this title
Nice and sunny here at the moment, no car boots though due to soggy fields.
The dogs have been out and are now languishing on the settee.
Think we are going to tacke the garden if the weather holds and i mean tackle as the weeds have took over
Also going to a friends to pick up some flood damaged dolls to wash.

Re: Skoda Fabia Saturday

I envy you a bit of sunshine Shelley - it's bucketing down here. Our Schnauzer walk got cancelled as the forest is more like a quagmire. It poured all night too. Still, we are not as badly off as folks elsewhere so can't complain.

We've decided to splash out and bought ourselves a nice piece of beef for roast tomorrow - something else to be cheerful about.

Have a good day, I hope the weather holds for you. I keep thinking about MrsH on her way to Cornwall .... Hope those dolls clean up well. Just a bit of soapy water or do you have to use something special???

Take care folks, stay safe and dry and warm if you live near Shelley!

Rain here too. The Hamlet production went ahead last night and was very good. The poor actors also had to contend with fireworks at one point!

Raining here again too- Cambridge was full of wet tourists today, some of them even braved the punts. I did feel sorry for the youngsters doing the punting- they were soaked.

Well done on the access course btw Kazz- forgot to say yesterday. Shelley-hope the dolls clean up OK. It is very wet underfoot too here Angie but at least we are unlikely to flood as we are on top of a ridge. I probably won't be running across the fields tomorrow though.
Yola- good luck keeping the youngsters entertained in this weather. You could always take them here http://www.english-heritage.org.uk/d...ents/foh-2012/ next weekend. I'll be there getting wet and probably covered in glue and paint as my team runs 'make and take' activities. I have banned glitter glue (work of the devil that stuff).

Keep dry everyone and let's coordinate that sun dance!

Re: Skoda Fabia Saturday

evening all
Angie, sorry the walk was cancelled, enjoy your beef
CS glad you enjoyed the performance yesterday
Yola, you're going to have a busy 2 months,lol
Karen, we haven't got a double crate yet but we are making do with the large single at the moment. We will get one but have been spending on other pet related things, namely a training book for Kwame to make him less reactive and various litter trays etc to try with Jerry.
We love the car, it's comfy and fuel efficient.
Angie, i've got 5 shopping bags full of vintage dolls and their clothing to wash, it's only the tip of the iceberg realy.
They all have to be washed in hot water and disinfectant.
