Re: Moody Monday

Morning Elaine and Pamela - hope your first day back goes well Elaine, I didn't know you'd had a bit of a break! Sorry to hear about your cold Pamela, hope that goes away very quickly.

It's a glorious day here, blue sky and warm. Down side is the pollen count is very high and my chest is feeling a bit tight. I've been promised a load of transcription work today so if it arrives I shall be indoors most of the time anyway.

OH is out with Monty - OH has for the first time in ages worn his trainers rather than welly boots. Groceries have been delivered and put away and I had strawberries on my breakfast cereal, so all good here today.

Have a good day folks, whatever you are doing. Cuddles for all of our lovely Catsey cats from me!

Re: Moody Monday

It's Summer here (I don't usually like the heat but this is such a change that it's most welcome!) blue sky, sunshine and we needed the air con on in the car - sorry Pamela and anyone else who is not having nice weather.

We ordered a new bed the other day and now we've decided to redecorate the bedroom before it arrives, well it's an awfully long time since it was last done I searched online and found a wallpaper which, while it's not exactly what I want, is good enough and will do. After all bedroom walls don't get looked at for as long and as often as the living room ones! It's only sold at Homebase, so I checked local availability and they had enough at the Camberley branch. Grrrr! when I got there I found that although they had enough rolls, they weren't all the same batch no. there were 3 different batches in fact and the difference was very noticeable. I was rather cross! I've now ordered it online from Homebase, these little things are so trying

Today my order of dog-safe disinfectant (I buy 4x5 litres of Mistral every 2 years) came and Parcelforce hadn't taken notice of the THIS WAY UP sticker and one of them has leaked a bit out of the cap. There's a strong smell of lemon disinfectant in the house now. Fortunately not much leaked out but as I said above, it's the little things that are so trying.

Have a lovely afternoon everyone.

Re: Moody Monday

Hey all, first day back hasnt been bad at all, dogs were all happy to see me again which is nice.
Very mild here with light showers, not nearly as bad as the weather we've all had of late.

Re: Moody Monday

Roasting hot here . . . which is nice. Conducting a lovely argument via email with the other half. It's good to know there is continuity between when he's home and when he's not

Yesterday we were down your neck of the woods Angie; in West Wittering. Took us ages to find it because of course Mr 'I Know This Area' took the wrong turning off the Chichester by pass and we went not only round the houses but round their gardens as well

I have some lovely pictures of the beautiful beach with the tide out . . . tried out my new long lens and got some interesting effects.

Need to say that I won't be able to do the quiz hosting on Wednesday . . . a big project has come in and I'm going to need to work on it tomorrow night and Wednesday night as I'm minding the boys during the day.

Re: Moody Monday

evening all! what a miserable day here, pouring down with rain

had a check up at the dentists, got soaked, then had to take george rat to the vet for a check up, and took ty dog too as he has yet another ear infection! so 50 quid lighter and taking a hyperactive wet labrador on a bus means i am now sitting in my pj's relaxing!!!

Re: Moody Monday

Evening. Summer's finally come to Denmark aaah

I'm dogsitting 9 dogs from wednesday afternoon til monday morning. Well I'm going over to their house and feed them and let them out in the garden.

Its shih tzu'es and Havanese.. I've dogsat them before

All the boys are staying home, as one of the bitches is in season now.

Luna will be staying home, the dogs aren't used to big dogs, and Luna doesn't like being around barking dogs, so she's better off staying at home
