Sea mist Tuesday

Morning everyone. We can hardly see the sea this morning for mist. Perhaps it will brighten up later
Not sure where we are going today but I'm hoping to book to visit the titanic experience, Belfast next week.
Hope your weather is better than ours, back later

Re: Sea mist Tuesday

Morning Shelley. So sorry to hear you have poor weather, hate to rub it in, but it's another glorious day here today. Hot but not humid, just fab.

OH will be playing golf later, he'll need to make sure he has sunscreen and his hat. I am having my hair cut this afternoon and will be Monty sitting (not such a bad job now he's becoming a good boy!) We have dog training later.

Have a good day folks.

Re: Sea mist Tuesday

It's beautiful here too today, I can't see a cloud in the sky at the moment!

The post brought a new duvet cover for our new, bigger bed. It was a company I've not ordered from before but loved their striped cover and ordered it late on Sunday afternoon, it arrived about 9am today! Terrific

Went to the hairdresser this morning for my normal trim and popped into an extremely cheap shoe chain which has recently opened in Fleet. I have very broad (ok fat!) feet and can't easily fit into anything on the High Street, but today - success! I bought 2 pairs of boys trainers/sandals for dog walking in the Summer. They're not leather (well they wouldn't be at that price ) so they'll be good for on the beach as the sea water shouldn't affect them, just as long as the glue holds together 2 pairs for £18 - bargain!

Off to sit in the garden for a bit, enjoy the day

Which company was it MrsH? I've been looking for a striped duvet cover, found one I loved but it was only available in Super King size!

I bought it through Not On The High Street it was £66.50 for the kingsize but it can also be bought direct from the Fine Cotton Company (I found out later ) and they're charging £54 but postage is extra (I could have saved myself a wee bit!) On the Fine Cotton site you need to click on the "Sale" sign otherwise you'll end up with the full price

I bought the Hudson, but they also have a different striped one at £45 for the kingsize. They have other sizes too. Mine seems to be good quality, we've given it a thorough going over just to be sure. It's not a heavyweight cotton, feels rather like a nice shirt!

The results of many hours searching t'internet Angie

eta. another order came this afternoon, new duvet, mattress protector, fitted sheets. Again, another order that only went in a few days ago (last Friday actually at 22.50) again, it all seems to be very good quality. This time the company was Duvet and Pillow Warehouse and they included a free gift, a cute little alarm clock

I'm rather enjoying finding new places to shop
