midweek Wednesday

Afternoon everyone. Hope everyone is having a good day. I'm just in work until 4pm today then home for a walk and maybe the golf range again.

Are we quizzing to night?

Re: midweek Wednesday

Hi Pamela.............. overcast here again today. I'm off in a short while to meet a friend with her dogs for a walk and a cup of tea and then on to agility with OH and Monty. Monty may be a little tired boy by then.

Not sure about the quiz, can't remember back to a fortnight ago - I will be online around quiz time just to check and see if it's happening. Can't remember who the quizmistress would be ..... Lynz??? Not sure she'll want to sit and type with a poorly elbow.

How is it Lynz???

Re: midweek Wednesday

Nothing much happening here, the breadmaker's on, the sudoku done, a bit of Olympic viewing and I'm just about to have a cuppa and start the crossword. The four-footed ones are all being good, OH is out for lunch and it's very peaceful and quiet!

Re: midweek Wednesday

Hi Pamela, Angie and MrsH, sounds like everyone is having a relaxed enjoyable day. I've just finished work and that's it for me until next Monday (I work three long days), really looking forward to my four days off.

How was the golf range Pamela? Did you enjoy the walk and agility Angie? And how's your crossword coming along MrsH?

May I also ask, what is the quiz?!

Generally, Mrskatyb, we hold a weekly quiz- 10 questions on very general topics although it is up to the quizmistress to set the questions and he/she may theme it if liked.

Recentlyish, the night has been changed to a Wednesday and it would normally run from around 8.15.

Sadly, it doesn't look as if it will run this evening as you really do need quizmistress + 3 players to make it fun. It's not serious and chatting happens too!

It is scored 3 points for first correct answer, 2 for 2nd and 3 for 3rd. The winner's prize is to be quizmistress the following week.
