Great Escape Thursday!

Morning all ........ well, what a start to the day. OH was not a well chap this morning and Monty escaped. Monty has been around the neighbourhood with neighbours trying to catch him which they finally managed and bought him back home. Meanwhile I was out looking and shouting for him and poor OH ..............................

Things are a bit calmer now, Imodium hopefully to the rescue and we have the boiler man coming in a short while to do an early (and cost cutting) service. Not sure who will be taking Monty for his walk, does he deserve one having had a DIY one earlier? I have quite a bit of work on, so OH may have to brave it.

Hope everyone else's day starts in a bit calmer fashion. That's why I love cats, I may have to go and cuddle Kizzy before I start my transcription, a quiet soother.

Re: Great Escape Thursday!

What a start to your day Angie! I hope that Mr Angie is soon feeling better, does this mean he has to forego golf today?

Naughty Monty, they can be such escape artists and great opportunists. Morgan escaped once because OH left the side gate open but fortunately he didn't get far before being captured. There's a bloke lives near me who insists on walking his lab off-lead along the pavement, he shouldn't do it of course but I admire the way the dog just trundles along beside his daddy. Morgan wouldn't do that, he's be off like a shot!

I'm planning some ironing for today while I watch tv, that's my Olympic workout!

Re: Great Escape Thursday!

Afternoon Angie,MrsH and all to follow.
Oh dear what a morning Angie, hope things have improved.
We had a marvellous time at Titanic. belfast, I loved being on the ferry although the weather was windy and wet on the way there, we still went on the sun deck though, lol
We had a little tour around Belfast first and saw Shanklin rd and all the murals. the museum was fantastic, it was amazing to walk on the slipway were Titanic and Olympic were built. I have some pics but am unab,e to post whilst at the van due to reception I think.
Howard had to go home this morning so it's just me and Chris and the dogs until he returns.
