Super sunny sunday

Evening all, hope you have all had some sunshine like we have.
We have had rather a strenuous couple of days.
Yesterday Howard and myself decided to go for a climb, scramble around the base of the rocks looking for seals.Stupidly we went a bit far, tried to take a shortcut up the cliff which looked do able from the bottom. We got into some difficulty but did manage to get our selfs out of it.
Last night we were invited to a little social evening in a friends van.It was lovely to meet people and have a drink and chat.
Today we got up early to visit a car boot, made a nice change.
We have just been swimming in the sea and are now exhausted, lol.

Evening Shelley, sounds like you had a bit of a scary day aswell. Glad you are ok. Your social evening sounds good. Hope you have a nice relaxing evening

We went to 1 for breakfast this morning then headed out so i could get a new jacket. Went to look at kindles and tablets today to try and decide which is best, the off to the driving range. Just relaxing as im on 8-4 shifts this week which mean a very early start.

Sounds a bit scary Shelley! Glad you extricated yourselves. Pamela, kindle screens are better for reading and the battery life is much better than tablets but tablets do more if that's any help?
I'm chuffed with myself- I ran 10 miles today! That's the farthest I've ever managed. Chilling with a beer on the sofa now, I feel I've earned it.

CS i like the idea of the tablet as it means i can surf the net as well as read books if i take it on holiday. Also meant to say that we got our 3 day mini cruise to Amsterdam and a night in Newcastle when we dock as its my birthday the next day

I have an iPad for work but the lack of Flash annoys me and means loads of websites don't really work.

Shelley that sounds scary at least you got yourselves out of it. But your weekend sounds lovely.
Pamela did not know you were a golf player. I have a kindle and find it good for reading . And a cruise you have to update as my cruise is not till end of Sept.
C.S 10 miles.....good lord for that you deserve a beer or ten.

Well been in and out today - really enjoyed it all though, just in from a chat round at a friends.
