Just a wee wave from me! OH, Monty and I went out for a 3 hour walk today! Very nice apart from the fact that Monty was quite cantankerous during the mid section, he would not stop biting at my walking pole and when told off, he went off to bite OH's ankles. Finally, OH had to hold his head still so as to give firm eye contact and tell him NO, which seemed to work. I did not go to agility last evening, because it was raining and cold, but OH said that Monty was such a good boy and did a whole round, apart from one piece of equipment that all the dogs had trouble with because it was differently placed. I am sure that Monty was having a reaction to having been so good and having received so much praise. He went over to the dark side today. On the way back, we met a man with a 10 month old collie bitch and she and Monty played together very nicely for a while. I think he also got frustrated a bit because he wanted to run off and play and there weren't many dogs about today. Yes, I am in awe at the bravery of the Paralympians even though I do get confused about the categories. As you say Kazz, we have got it right. |
