Black cats - is this unusual?

Ben is now six months and has a lovely shiny black coat

We. I was nursing him tonight I noticed what appeared to be dirt throughout his coat and was stroking him to wipe it off and then realised he has dozens of single white hairs mixed through his black coat. It's not patches by any means, just single white hairs and there wouldn't be, I don't think, anyway they would come out in a photo. Starts from the top of his head right down his wee body to tip of his tail Anyone else seen anything like this? It almost makes his coat look sparkly

Both my black boys have white hairs through their coats, Leo has a row of them across one of his paws, looks like someone has sewn it on...

I was looking again tonight at his coat - they are still there

He is starting to grow like a weed. One thing about the black coats, you can see how shiny they are

Yes, I've noticed that recently with black dogs we meet on walks - their coats are glowing just now. Owners must have been polishing them!

My problem is the opposite, whenever I wear something dark, young Pip decides he wants a cuddle - white hairs everywhere!!!
