Murky Monday

Has anyone got daylight today? I've travelled from East Anglia to Swindon and it has been foggy all the way!
Hope you are all having a good day.

Re: Murky Monday

Afternoon CS - we had a wee break in the murk earlier but it didn't last and I will be putting the lights on soon. Say Hello to Swindon for me (my dad came from Swindon).

New washing machine installed and is working already. Had a bit of a catastrophe, the guy installing the new machine knocked the hot water inpipe (not now needed) with another pipe and so there was water everywhere. Cupboards have been emptied and things dried out. Just cleaned the floor and having lunch before final straightening up. Oooooh washing machine is spinning - a sound I haven't heard for quite a while!

Hope everyone has a good day.

Re: Murky Monday

Not too bad a day here weatherwise, it's dry at least.
I'm feeling a little sore after falling yesterday.
Glad your washing machine is working ok Angie, we had to get a new oven last week.
Been busy today, cleaning the car interior, cleaning the floors and sorting out my new fileing cabinet.

Shelley, I was sorry to read about your fall. Take care of your elbow, they are tender hinges!

Ow, hope the bruises fade soon Shelley. Enjoy the new washing machine Angie.

Still foggy here- I didn't enjoy driving home from the station!

Re: Murky Monday

Hello all

Sorry not been around for a bit life is hectic still on nights. But not enjoying it. Dad has had a couple of falls recently including one where he ended up in hospital with breathing difficulties we now have oxygen here.
Mom is looking worn out too, not just Dad but her health is poor at the moment eating is a struggle, and her back is really playing her up and she now has been diagnosed after an xray with arthritis in the chest bone and collar bones and ribs.... OUCH.
Anyhow hope to pop on the board more regularly when I finaly get a grip on life
