wednesday

afternoon all.
Quiet day at home so far. Took the dogs out seperately this morning so i can work on training them. Kwame is languishing in the crate at the moment as he was a naughty boy just before. He was asleep beside me and i wanted to examine his dew claws, he growled his disaproval so i swatted him off and into the crate. I know the crate shouldn't be used this way but it made me feel better, lol
Off to a friends for coffee and a catch up now.

Re: wednesday

Afternoon Shelley and all to come along .....

It was very gloomy again this morning but the sun is beginning to come out.

We had a load of logs delivered yesterday so OH has been stacking them and I helped a bit! Also been to the local garage as I had a rear light out. Good service, charged only for the bulb and fitted quickly for free.

Monty has training this evening and we are waiting for a call from the trainer as her partner who usually transports her plus equipment and dogs to the venue is at the dentist today and so OH is on standby as backup transport.

Still plodding away at family history and may have temporarily come to a "No further information" point in relation to one generation of one part of my ancestors!

I hope that you forgive Kwame, Shelley. OH took a whole day to forgive Monty Bogle for being a g*t at agility last Sunday. I was much more forgiving as I think he was tired out from his rushing up and down steep hills with sighthounds the day before! Have you ever tried growling back at your dogs???? Someone on another forum I belong to re Schnauzers had occasion to call in an animal behaviourist and that was a recommended tactic!

Have a good day folks.

Re: wednesday

Hi everyone, day off today so catching up on some chores. Had to go and collect a parcel today, I was out last week when they tried to deliver it. I went onto their site to rearrange delivery and realised it was going to be a week to wait! I decided to go and collect it today so I wouldn't have to wait in, came home from work last night and they'd tried to deliver it again! Never mind got it today, got the cats another hooded cat loo, my life is complete . Can't believe this horrible weather, vegas was fab! Will post some photos on site soon.

Re: wednesday

Evening everyone, juts in from work had a training course today for a modern apprenticeship that my work are organising. Wee Tara, my sisters dog was rushed to the vet again today as she was very poorly, the vet had to immobilize her as she was constantly crying if she moved or if my mum tried to give her water through a syringe. she has been kept in by the vet overnight but they have phoned my sister to say she is up on her feet and eating and drinking again so hopefully shes definitely on the mend this time. she has given us a scare 2 days in a row now.

Shelley, hope you enjoyed your coffee and catch up
Angie, hope monty was good during training tonight
Pauline, glad to hear you got your parcel
LT, enjoy your quiet evening
