Winter Sunday Daily

A little early for a daily and I would like to report the weather in Birmingham is as I type rainy and cold however the plus side it is not snow and ice and on the double plus side I am still in the house

However I am wide awake and maybe not raring to go however wide awake. Fancya toasted bacon sarnie with brown sauce this morning and a coffee, have to get the papers and walk the dog in not particular order or may have the bacon sarnie twice
Will try to get round to posting some pictures of my cruise today my apologies for being a little lax in my involvement of the the board of late however life "as we know it" gets in the way at times.

Love the idea of the quiz being a Monday and will do my utmost best to attend every Monday

Will take a trip out to the farm shop today too stock up on their bacon and maybe order the turkey for Christmas just after a small crown this year I think.
Have to go out and book a resturant for a Christmas do this year for friends. Looks good meal and a disco - we have to look around as one of us is gluten intolerant and this place does gluten free dishes therefore will get our business
Also going to try to book some shows for Mom and Dad over Christmas however Mom is 80 on 19th November and she has had a letter from hospital to correct a leak in her eye following cataract surgery on the day of her birthday.... ...oh well she needs to get it sorted and if she puts it off could be a while.
May strip the wallpaper off in the loo and redocorate - not sure abit of a whim.
Having a lovely piece of roast pork today with crackling and apple sauce.......and going out tonight too.

Anyhow enough rambling from me off to get the bacon on as the corner shop for the papers is not open till 7am.

Cats Staff sorry to hear about your Mom but have to say Dad has a frame and the confidence it gives is fantastic as you say.
Shelley hope you have a safe trip to Scotland.

See you all later Karen

Re: Winter Sunday Daily

Morning Kazz, Pamela and those to come along later, although you'll be earlier than you think with the extra hour. OH has just gone round the house doing all the clocks, takes a long time with the old chiming clock as you have to let it chime every hour and half hour - much easier putting it forward the hour in THE SPRING. See, taking a leaf out of Karen's book and looking forward!

Not very nice here today, cold and overcast with mizzly rain. OH is going to be taking Monty to agility on his own today. My breathing is better then yesterday but I'm not feeling quite right, although better than I was. I'm taking the Echinacea.

I've had a lovely time with Kizzy this morning. She is brim full of joie de vivre and we had a very good game with the climbing frame and Da Bird. She then waited for me to make "her bed" (ours really) and she's settled down for a well earned nap! I'm definitely coming back as a well cared for cat. Giving up the idea of being a Buzzard in the next life, too cold for me.

Enough of the wittering ............. enjoy your Sunday folks. If someone would just invent the Transmat Beam, you could all pop in for a piece of OH's lemon drizzle cake, which is scrumptious and a cuppa. All Welcome!

Re: Winter Sunday Daily

Hope you got your sarnie(s) Kazz? Did you enjoy your visit with your MIL Pamela? Playing with Kizzy sounds fun Angie- can you send some Lemon drizzle cake this way?

A domestic day today (much to the disgust of the felines) and a long run. Just had posh fish and chips for tea and tested out my Kenwood hand mixer by making banana bran muffins.

Have a good evening all.
