Tuesday

Morning everyone.
Bit grey here at the moment but still dry so will be taking the dogs out soon.
ATM they are roasting themselves in front of the fire.
Yesterday I started to write the first of several articles for doll showcase magazine. I am also near the end of reading my second book. It's amazing what you can do with a little time.
Angie, funny you should mention Carolyn,Leia and Christopher, they were also in my thoughts.

Re: Tuesday

Now thats weird I was thinking of Eileen and Leia yesterday when I was listening to the news on the radio and how worried I would have been. Then my thoughts went to Christopher and Carolyn.

I have woken up here to bright sunshine.......work tonight and is there a quiz next Monday?

Re: Tuesday

Morning Shelley and Kazz .......... the news from America is so terrible. If our dear Eileen had still been with us, wouldn't we all be worried for her, even though I'm not sure whether Washington DC has been affected or not. So many millions of folk without power and still in the storm.

A lovely bright cold day here, sunshine streaming in. OH has a perfect day to play golf and he left a short while ago; we had another load of logs delivered early this morning (7.00 am!!!) and groceries have also arrived. I have done some vacuuming - it's amazing what an early sunny start can achieve!

Running out of steam now though ..............

Have a good day folks.

Re: Tuesday

Cold and sunny here,. Myshka and Ripsy (our cow cat girlie who has left her home 2 doors away and moooved in with us) have been for a stroll around the garden and are now tucked up asleep. I'm awaiting a big editing job coming in (it better had - I've canx activities with the boys to accommodate it).

I'm also helping Dominik with his creating writing which he struggles with so he's writing a vampire story; Sebi is hurtling around upstairs with his lego as has refused to do any writing. Piano practice beckons if files from client don't arrive

Re: Tuesday

Sunny here but chilly. I've just nipped out to buy new batteries for my front light- bits of the ride home are now VERY dark!

Hope the work comes in Yola and yes, do tell more of the cow cat girlie?

7 AM sounds very early for a delivery Angie! Hope you've had some 'feet up' time?

Waves to everyone else .... and back to work!

Re: Tuesday

Sorry I don't seem to get on here very much at the moment, just don't know where the time goes!

My arthritis has been playing up and my insistence on keeping on with my knitting and dog walking hasn't helped, Morgan has obviously picked up on my weakness and has reverted to the naughty, strong "I want to go this way" little git that we thought had finally learned better manners. Oh well, this too will change!

The supermarket was selling some plums really cheaply at the weekend so I bought loads and made even more jam yesterday but it didn't set so this morning I had to tip it all out, wash and re-sterilise the jars and re-boil the jam again until I was happy, I've probably overdone it now and will end up with rock-hard plum jam.

I bet we were all thinking of Eileen, Carolyn and Chris at the moment, it does look as though DC has escaped though. Terrible times for the people in New Jersey

Re: Tuesday

Karen, the quiz will start a week next Monday if I'm hosting as we only travel back next Monday, unless of course someone else wants to start it off.
