Re: Croaky voice Wednesday

Glad you had a good time Pamela! Hope your voice improves as the day goes on.

Happy Halloween all ....................................

Yola - I can't believe you binned the pumpkin innards, not even saved the seed for roasting? I shall wait for tomorrow and buy a reduced price pumpkin and I will freeze some down for the animals and roast the seeds - I have read that you should boil them first in salted water - does anyone know if that's right?

Bit of a gloomy day here and rain coming in later on, the wind is getting up a bit already. OH is stacking logs! I'm about to start cleaning the bathroom.

TRICK OR TREAT?? Does that happen much in your area?

Have a good day folks

Re: Croaky voice Wednesday

Haha Angie! I find the smell of pumpkin innards revolting; although I do like pumpkin seeds . . . . it genuinely didn't occur to me to save them.

Today is halloween party night for the boys - Sebi will be dracula and Dominik has chosen to be a mummy. I shall be winding torn sheets strips around him for a while as he's quite a big lad now I will do my usual 'half costume' of black handkerchief dress, gothic make up and lacy fingerless gloves but nothing too outrageous.

Just been into town for a few bits and pieces and it's heaving with kids and frazzled Mums. Roll on next week

Re: Croaky voice Wednesday

Whoooooooooooooo everyone on this Halloween day
Pamela, enjoy you're film, hope you're voice is better soon.
Yoga, hope the boys have fun in their costumes.
Of course there is nobody here young enough to dress up but my son and myself have still carved a Pumpkin to light tonight.
Angie there is hardly anyone else on the site so I don't expect we will get any trick or treaters. Will just have to play tricks on ourselves, lol
Rough day here weatherwise, I've not been out of the van today. Been writing another doll article, reading, eating and catching up with the vintage Dallas episodes I have recorded, Bobby has just returned, lol

Re: Croaky voice Wednesday

Sounds like the ghoulies and ghosties have already arrived, the wind is howling outside!

Shelley - I used to be glued to Dallas every week - got really caught up in the "who killed J.R." storyline and had bullet shattered glass transfers on my bedroom window!!! Enjoy! I see an up to date storyline is now being screened but I wouldn't want to watch it - still love the theme music though!

Enjoy playing tricks on yourselves! That could be fun!!!

Finally left the caravan to take the dogs on the beach. Now back in with the pumpkin lit all nice and snug.
