Thursday

Morning everyone.
Nice bright day here so far, just about to take the dogs on the beach.Howard went out early this morning and saw the three Deer again, they were actualy on the beach.
Off to Newton Stewart later, the dogs are going to visit the dog welfare shop, they like it as they are always given treats.

Re: Thursday

Morning Shelley - it's been pouring with rain here but the sun is peeking through now. Sunshine and showers forecast, so it's about right. Hope you all enjoy your trip to the dog welfare shop. We are lucky enough to have a dog-friendly home delivery lady, who always finds something nice in her pocket for Monty - you should hear his squeals of delight when he spots her car!

Monty was good at training class last evening. He did a new exercise of retrieving through a tunnel and managed it fairly well, apart from the handing back of the dumbbell, which he has trouble with anyway. There was a new puppy in the junior class and the man gave such an odd story about where the dog came from, we guess that he has come from a Bulgarian puppyfarm. That's something new ............. puppy is said to be a collie/Bulgarian shepherd cross and was totally overwhelmed by everything going on around him. I gave him a cuddle and a smooth at the end of class and luckily for the man and his family, the trainer thinks that he will be OK when he settles. Look out for Gumtree ads, this seems to be where the man initially heard of the puppies. Haven't we got enough puppyfarms in UK, without the terrible practice now being taken up in Europe? Sorry, rant over.

Have a good day folks.

Re: Thursday

Angie, glad Monty was a good boy at training, sounds like he's doing realy well.
Malaika and Kwame enjoyed the canine welfare sho, they always get made a fuss of by the staff and get treats. I was lucky enough to find a vintage doll too.
Spent a couple of hours on the beach this afternoon, walking the dogs separately.

Daft Tolly has lost his magnet so he has been locked out all day! Ive been at Kenwood House interviewing all day. It is closed for a major refurbishment and was freezing!
