Chilly Friday

Morning all, we have lovely sunshine here but I hear from the weather forecast that many don't. It is pretty nippy with some frost on grass and cars.
I'm working at home today so will have lots of interesting paw prints on my paper work sometime soon. Smudge HAS to check out what the staff are up to- you can't be too careful.
Have a good day everyone.

I miss cats walking on my papers....on anything actually.
However back to the daily I am off tonight so not back till Tuesday night - whoppeee......... so going to bed in an hour o two popping the building society first and maybe Sainburys also got to return some saucepans brought some lovely saucepans in Sept and the non stick bit is coming off already......not impressed when they cost a bit too.

Already taken Sal out and had a couple of hot buttered crumpets.

So Good Morning Catsey people.

Then maybe a sleep, for a few hours then get up so I can sleep tonight and make the most of the weekend.

C.S enjoy your day working from home sounds good given the weather it was cold here last night almost sleet. But bright now.

Good morning CS , Karen and all to follow.
CS, of course Smudge has to check you're work and give it his stamp of approval
The Basenjis gave the iPad the stamp of approval when they landed on my knee .
Karen, enjoy you're days off and good luck with the pans.
We bought some Swan non sticks and the coating was coming off before a year was up, they were only used at the van too.
Very blustery here today with a dramatic rough sea. Not sure what we are doing yet, we haven't even had breakfast yet.back later.......

Re: Chilly Friday

Afternoon all - it's been sunshine and showers but the wind is getting up and it's nippy out. OH has been out with Monty and all was fine and then we had a bit of shopping to do and had to pick up some food for the cats and training treats for Monty at P@H and OH started to feel unwell - he went to bed as soon as we got home, his back is aching and he says he feels sick. He played golf yesterday and although the day was bright and dry, it was again cold and I think he's come down with what used to be called "a chill". I am thinking about a warming soup to make for supper, he won't probably want to eat, he never does when he's not feeling well. Poor OH and poor Monty - who doesn't understand why his Master isn't sitting in front of the TV so that he, Monty, can spread himself out along Master's legs and go to sleep. OH is a very poor patient .......... so please send me patience vibes too!

Have a good day folks.

Angie, hope your o/h is feeling better soon. Sending you some patience vibes too
We took the dogs to St Ninian's beach today, it's usually very quiet so we can let the dogs off lead. The sea was in and rough, what a wonderful sight and sound when we stood facing the waves, all the pebbles were being rolled around.
Last time we visited the cave we noticed that most of the memorials have gone. There are a few coming back but whoever decided to remove them has taken some of the character away.

It's cold night up here in the Highlands, keeping the heating up full and will make a nice pot of tea soon. Got some fancy tea on holiday and it's lovely, bought myself a tea press which arrived a few days ago. Still perfecting the art of the tea stay warm everyone x
