windy Thursday

Wow it is windy at the moment- the moggies are NOT impressed. Hope everyone is safe and well?
Had to go to London today but luckily the trains behaved so I'm home safe. Looking forward to the weekend-a day to go.

Re: windy Thursday

Hello CS, think everyone else is hiberating, lol.
Been to work this morning and then to visit a friend. We went to have a look at the christmas decorations at the local garden centre, very nice but very expensive.

Re: windy Thursday

Hi all - very wet and windy here too. Cats are going round all the windows hoping the weather will be better at the next one.

Just had bowl of chicken soup - always makes me feel warm and cosy.

My poor hens are thinking about swimming lessons - lol

Re: windy Thursday

Evening all! Hi CS - good to hear from you. It's howling outside .......... has been quite a nice day, dry and sunny but windy but now I think we have a gale.

I've been searching for decomposing rodents today. Found one in our bedroom (YUK!) but still think there might be another one somewhere. I wish my two hunters would keep their prey under control and not let the poor thing crawl away to die. Ghastly smell.

Had our front hedge cut this morning in the dry and got the chap (with his ladders) to get the leaves and moss out of the gullies either side of our "link" roof, so much gunge had collected that we were getting leaks. All done now.

We are generally lucky with flooding but our next door neighbour says her field is saturated and the water table is only just under the surface.

Going to try and get OH to clear out the shed and start ark building.
