Five pleasures in your day

Well just browsing the web as you do and popped onto a site and saw this idea and I am introducing the idea to you.
As the title says 5 things that have made your day slightly better.

Well what do you think could this take off???? we need a bit of a different way to contribute to the board don't we? this is way of dipping in and out without phoning first....so to speak. Keeping the board moving forward and everyone has 5 things surely from opening your eyes in the morning too a lovely cup of tea and beyond.

I will start from yesterday Saturday.

1. Got the shopping before the rain.
2. Loaded a book on kindle about a man who sold his life on ebay.....
3. My amazon order for Christmas has grown (yes this is good thing - christmas gift ideas without trawling shops)
4. Full cupboards
5. Arranged a night out Sunday with friends

1. Morning mug of tea delivered daily by my lovely OH!
2. Feeding Kizzy and Pip - I love them more every day.
3. Found a book on Amazon that I've been wanting - ordered it!
4. Downloaded the complete works of Joseph Conrad for £1.90
5. My cousin sent me a copy of a lovely description from a contemporary newspaper of a family marriage in 1906

Good thread Kazz!

1. I'm completely free of pain and soreness at last after having my tooth out last week.
2. Cassie wanted extra cuddles as she couldn't go out in the rain.
3. Finished all my ironing!
4. Really enjoyed "Strictly" and "Merlin" last night.
5. Had a good night's sleep for a change!

Good idea! I'll do Saturday as well.

1. Waking up to the smell of freshly ground coffee.
2. Listening to my OH feed the cats (I love to feed them, it just makes me happy that he loves it too)
3. Going shopping and getting what I want without spending too much.
4. Eating a lovely steak for dinner.
5. Not getting an early night!

1. Mug of tea again from my lovely OH!
2. Kizzy was feeling playful, so we had some games.
3. Had a very tasty juicy apple with my lunch.
4. Found some more ancestors!
5. Enjoyed watching The Secret of Crickley Hall (best BBC drama production in ages IMO)

Sunday
1. Lovely walk with Sal
2. Beautiful roast pork dinner (scrummy)
3. Brought and assembled a father and daughter lamp for my Mom when doing her knitting. Its a hit.
4. Katie heard she had landed a Christmas job.
5. A brililant night out with friends and we complied a list of things to do this coming year from a pamper day to paintballing/laser guns - horseriding to murder mystery.

1. Having Sebi sneak into my bed for a quick cuddle before having to get up for school.

2. Breakfast. I always wake up ravenous

3. Reaching out in the night to find Myshka snuggled up against me.

4. Issuing an Sales Order at work. Preferably a 4-figure one. Means I can pay staff salaries and maybe have something left over for myself.

5. Leaving the office at 4.30 for the evening school run.

1 getting litter trays all cleaned out & fresh for the day

2 feeding the animals & watching them all eat - doesn't always happen as Katie is sick so often

3 checking what Posts have been made on my rescue Groups on a social net working group

4 knowing that the little traumatised cat I helped to transport & find a new home for last week is now being loved & helped back on the road to recovery and living the life that a little cat should live even if her new mum did find that her whole underside was a mass of big tats

5 feeling satisfied when I manage to get one of our Fosterers to take on orphan kittens or nursing mum and kittens - knowing they are safe
