Re: Friday

Morrrrrrrrrrning! (Just). We are all still here, so the Mayan End of the World prediction wasn't up to much ....

Bright day here, blue skies and nice in the sunshine.

Mince pies are out today with coffee ......... have any of you done mince pie testing this year? OH bought some home from his golf Christmas presentation, we'd not heard of the brand so checked online and they came from Liddl - very very nice!

Not much more news about MIL - she is still in hospital and is being very noisy on the ward which seems to be par for her condition. Doctors still haven't assessed her and we don't know how long she will stay in hospital - I would have thought they'd want her out before Christmas.

Housework for me today, and laundry. Have a good day everyone and I am looking forward to the quiz too!

Re: Friday

Sorry to read your MIL news Angie, elderly, sick and confused relatives are such a worry. I hope she can be as comfortable as possible, either in hospital or back at the care home.

Here it is bright and mild, boys and I have been to Waitrose amidst the Xmas madness and are now home hanging around for removers to come and collect my upright piano which is going to a new home. The removers have been chopping and changing the times so I'll be a bit miffed if I have to hang around all afternoon.

We have consumed several batches of OH's homemade mince pies but I haven't bought any shop ones yet this year.

Re: Friday

yes, we are still here, how good is that
Angie, hope everything goes as well as it can for you're mil.
Yola, i think we need a pic of you're baby grand when it's settled in
Nice busy morning at work, we had a play bus for the children. Called at the farm shop and got the christmas fruit and veg. We then went to pets at home to take Tuppences bed back, we've bought her a bird toy instead. I'm afraid Malaika disgraced herself in there and weed on the floor, very unusual for her. Nearly bought the dogs some stag bars but i'm concerned in case they fracture their teeth.
