Bright Monday

Well Good Morning everyone.

It is Jack and Sophies 19th today. Time has flown.

Hope you are all good, and well. The weather here is bright as the title suggests and although cold and more snowfall during the night its not to bad the roads are looking to be mostly clear. Sometimes it is good being on a main bus route, and in a big town.
Got up this morning walked the dog went for the papers (wrong ones delivered to the shop so a miffed shop owner) will go back later for those. Cleared the car and the path to the car ony to finish and find a moment later the hospital phoned Mom to say all operations cancelled HoHum

May well - actually I will correct that - I will venture out later as back at work tomorrow . Sal has been very sick but that could be just a dog thing she does or has in the past eaten snow. we will see. But she is well in herself.

So hope everyone has a good day and I shall attempt to attend the quiz tonight and no disaster/emergencies etc.

See you all later.

Re: Bright Monday

afternoon all
Karen sorry to hear you're mum's op has been cancelled and that Sal has been sick
Pamela, we have lots of snow too, not at work until wednesday afternoon thankfuly.
took the dogs for a snowy walk this morning, Kwame went run around and rolled twice in the snow when he fell over, got his coat full of snow, silly boy. Malaika looks on in disdain.
Managed to get lots of jobs done in the house so taking a short break now before tackling the ironing.
Looking foward to the quiz tonight.

Re: Bright Monday

Karen, I do hope you Sal is able to recover from what ails her soon - it sounds horrible, poor girl.

Here it is cloudy but no snow. I ventured out yesterday to take Sebi to a party and it wan't too bad, despite quite a heavy snow fall. I did chicken out of the school run this morning and OH did it, he said the school drive was 'lethal' and as pick-up will be my job I'm a bit nervous . . . to say the least!

The kitchen is being slowly dismantled with units due for delivery on the 1st of March. I'm trying to find builders/tradesmen who (a) bother to respond to messages and (b) don't charge a complete fortune. We'll be doing most of the work ourselves though as there is a big gap between our expectations of a good job and the ability of a typical builder to deliver to these expectation

Re: Bright Monday

Hi all! Very grey here, but no more snow fallen. Sorry you Mom's op has been cancelled Kazz.

We had a very bad night with Dora howling, OH is in a bad mood and I had about 2 hours sleep. I have transcription work today so at least that's keeping my mind off sleep.

Not sure that Elaine will remember she won the quiz last week. Can someone give her a poke on FB???

Re: Bright Monday

Hi all,
Well I was supposed to be at the GP for 7:50 - no chance. It took is an hour to dig our way out but luckily they re- booked me for later. I then came and worked at home!

Sorry to hear about the op being cancelled and I also hope Sal is OK. Ugh, I loathe ironing Shelley- hope yours went swimmingly! Hope your lift home was OK Pamela. Poor you and OH Angie- can't think of many worse noises that a howling dog! I was woken by a winging Tolly at 5 AM but was half awake anyway as I don't think he'd be loud enough to actually wake me. Nothing wrong with him I just think he is inside so due to hating snow that he gets a bit stir crazy!

Re: Bright Monday

Well hello peeps.
Agility training is cancelled again tonight so you have the pleasure of my company for the quiz, I warn you all, I have tried to make the Q's interesting, puzzling and entertaining so I hope you like....
I had planned to drool over videos of Eddie Vedder for most of the evening, but that aint happening now
Raynes paws are still sore, so am please agility is cancelled tbh, she needs to rest, and we have a big training session at the weekend, so I'd rather she was up for that.
