Re: Thursday

Afternoon Shelley, everyone. Very cold here, had a sprinkling of snow during the night.

Our new fencing/gate has arrived today and is being put up by our gardening man. This is to comply with rules laid down by the society that we are adopting Dora from. It's going to take a kangaroo to jump the fences now!

Poor Dora has an ear infection - we'd noticed that she was scratching a bit but our trainer who looked after the dogs yesterday thought it was a bit more than just a wee itch, so we managed to get a vet appointment this afternoon. Dora has infection, but probably no ear mites because she has Advocate. Drops for her and a recheck in a week. She was very very good at the vet and didn't make any protest at going into the surgery with other dogs there or having drops put in her ears.

OH has just lit the fire - it's raw outside and I hope everyone stays warm and safe and has a good day.

hi Angie,
hope everything went ok yesterday.
I'm pleased to see that the word fostering has been swopped for Adoption
Poor Dora, hope her ears are soon better.

Re: Thursday

Evening all.
Not a very eventful day, just walking the dogs and seeing to a few cats on route. As Rayne has had sore feet and not been walked much this week, I had arranged to meet a few friends for coffee this afternoon, on the way I stopped off at the beach and let Rayne splash around and chase seagulls for a wee while. Met my friends for coffee and shared a few laughs.
No more snow fall today but it is going to freeze over now, I think rain is forecast which will mean alot of sheet ice.
Hope you have all had a pleasant day.

Re: Thursday

It's not as cold as it has been, snow nearly all gone apart from on the school playing fields but I understand a final blast is on its way tomorrow before a thaw.

Just been told that Sebi is being entered for his grade 1 piano exam in June . . . He's six

Have just been watching a programme on The Snow Hotel . . . OH now has 2 years to save up in order to take me there for my big five-oh

Clever Sebi, i'm impressed. I'd love to be able to play an instrument but don't seem to have what it takes, lol
I had guitar lessons for years but unfortunately never realy progressed.
