Morning all ......... rather gloomy here and damp.

Monty is going to the vet this morning, he seems to have picked up Dora's ear infection.

Otherwise much as usual. Have a good day peeps.

Re: First Friday in February

Work for me, late in as I needed to get the wheels rebalanced after the shocking pot holes up near the boys' school. They obviously work on that basis that the parents can afford a new car every year . . . grrrr, not me though.

Also had to phone the dreaded HMRC to arrange to stage-pay my tax bill. Hate dealing with them but the chap I spoke to was actually very sweet, with a lovely Scottish accent. I even got a giggle or two out of him!

Can't wait until this evening as it will be nice to see Domi again after his boarding night. He stayed over with a couple of good buddies as the school was holding a pancake-making-and-tossing night. I imaging both he and his clothes will be covered in batter and maple syrup

Re: First Friday in February

Hi all, a mix of sunshine and showers here. I spent the morning in the local school as I am a community governor there.
Hope Monty is OK Angie? How sticky was Domi on his return Yola!?!

Hope you enjoyed the rest of your day our Pamela and good luck with selling the tickets Shelley.

I'm sat with a wheat bag on my 'frozen' shoulder. I'm having the same problem you listed Angie and getting dressed is presenting an increasing challenge! I had the same problem on the left side some years ago but this time it is the right and as I'm right handed it is a bit more bothersome.......

Re: First Friday in February

Thanks for asking peeps - Monty has an inflamed right ear and has drops and cleaning drops for his other ear .... he has to go back to the vet in a fortnight.

CS - my frozen shoulder was the left side and as I am right handed it was probably as you had previously. You know what it's like then at least .... but even more troublesome on your favoured side. Are you going to be brave enough and have the steroid joint injection??? Think it's hydrocortisone???

I am looking forward to pancake day - 12th Feb I think, even though Domi had his a bit early. Maple syrup ..... mmmmmmmmmmmm heavenly!

At the moment I would jump at the chance but no-one has suggested it yet! I'm hoping a proper assessment with the physio rather than the phone assessment I had in November will give me some more options.

Re: First Friday in February

He had 1 hours' sleep when boarding . . . That's the last time he's doing that. He was totally tearful when he got home and horrible to his brother so was in bed (and asleep) by seven.
