Freezing Friday

It's bitter out there! An extremely dry cold morning, brrr.

Another day in the office today - nothing remarkable. Tomorrow I'm off to London for this steam mop testing that I was invited to via Catsey. Taking Dominik with me (he'll do anything to get a clear 4 hours run on the iPad ) and after that I'll probably take him along to the National Gallery for a quick look as he's quite keen on painting/art.

Oh, and OH saw the ENT specialist yesterday afternoon, and it turns out that he has confirmed that what we both had before Christmas was pretty certainly whooping cough.

Hey ya... Long time no see! I finally changed internet provision again, so may end up using more webpages I had to cut down on when service had to be reduced! Currently lying on the couch with a cat snoozing on my lap! Bliss!

Re: Freezing Friday

Sounds like a nice day planned Yola. But you are misreading Dominik he wants a 4 hour run with his Mom.

Are there any side effects from whooping cough you should be aware of?

And Squirrel that sounds brilliant curled up on a sofa, with a cat.

I am off to work.....ho hum.

Re: Freezing Friday

Evening all. Bloomin' taters here too. Only popped out into the garden a couple of times and that was enough. So glad I have my Kindle on days like these ......... I'm into "tartan noir" atm.

Yola - I do hope you enjoy your steam mop trial and that you learn a lot and bag some goodies (???). I think these sort of cleaners are brilliant.

Nice to hear from you Squirrel and I hope your work goes well Kazz.

Keep warm folks.

Re: Freezing Friday

Brrr, spent the day working at Audley End House- no heating 'behind the scenes'. It is always great to get access to areas not on the public route and I do know I am privileged but boy was it COLD!

Hi Squirrel, I'm on a sofa next to a snoozing cat. Enjoy the steam cleaning day Yola- do they do ovens?
Hi Kazz and Angie, hope work is OK Kazz and enjoy the book Angie.
Time to put another log on the fire

Re: Freezing Friday

Yola, how did you find the steam mop day? I had hoped to go, but it clashed with the day my son flew back to Australia. We have had a wonderful 3 weeks with him home and I am feeling empty, sad and tearful. Hope you enjoyed the day x
