Well, just like Monday isn't it?

Yes, it is! Gloomy, grey and bitterly cold although not as cold as yesterday just feels it.

Luckily I have some work to do today so at least I'm keeping my fingers warm.

Regarding the quiz this evening ....... I'm afraid that Shelley can't join us and if we don't get enough players able to play this evening, I could offer Friday instead???? How do you feel about it peeps???

Have a good day and keep wrapped up!

afternoon Angie, hope you get enough players tonight. I've had a busy day getting stuff ready for the doll fair on saturday. Off to work shortly for an evenings training.

Re: Well, just like Monday isn't it?

Working from home today; just finished an RFP (request for tender information) and am taking a breather before looking at a writing job for my German PR client. Will probably be working on that tonight so not sure if I'll make the quiz. That said, if I've got the laptop on I might dip between the two.

Off to get the boys in a bit - I usually do 1/2 hour piano practice with Sebi until Dom finishes at 6 so need to take my work head off and get my Mummy head on in a moment.

Re: Well, just like Monday isn't it?

Hiya all.

I will try and make the quiz, fingers crossed....not done much today put a few shelves up, stripped the wallpaper from the back bedroom and started to fill in the holes - went out and brought Sal a couple of new beds, in the pet shop I met a lady with a 3 month old Bichon Frise - lovely little girl.
Popped into the carpet shop nearest and looked at carpet may have green I think for my bedroom although not 100% on that yet.
Came home and fitted the plinthsI had cut to size earlier on the first complete part of the kitchen and cooked and eaten chicken kievs and chips for tea.

Sal has been sick today - unlike her hoping she just ate to fast......
Now having a bit of a sit down and a browse of catsey.

Angie you are right it is colder than yesterday and another flurry of snow here, hope you have had a good day.
Shelley - hope you learn something at the training..... LOL
Yola - May see you later how is the kitchen coming on?

Blimey Kazz, I get tired just reading about your quiet days!
Grey and cold here, just an office day for me. Off to Wrest Park tomorrow for some training in using interactive whiteboards (it were chalk in my day!).
Yola, I now have a mental picture of you taking one head off and putting another on. Hope you stayed warm Angie and that your training is good Shelley.

Karen . . . kitchen has stalled as additional work (and money) needed to sort out the chimney breast. Hopefully have this now lined up for week after next. Kitchen arrives (boxed) on Friday though

Re: Well, just like Monday isn't it?

Shelley - the steam mop thing was really fun. Lots of fussy middle aged ladies (and one middle aged man) having huge fun playing with cleaning sticky barbecue sauce off a makeshift floor and getting involved in a heated discussion afterwards. Shame you couldn't be there - the client were paying all expenses - including overnight stays and will be sending out 2 x top of the range steam mops per attendee. Plus we will have the opportunity to attend other similar product testing events and get our mits of lots of other nice equipment

Oh, and I really would recommend these mops. I'm quite cross that I spent nearly £300 on my Morphy Richards and this does all the same and more for half the price

Mags - we were both listed as from Dogsey I didn't get a chance to chat with him as it was pretty frantic and I had Dominik with me who was good as gold . . . (he had my iPad )
