Recent bad weather with photosThankfully we missed the snow but have been beset with gales. Trees down in the garden, windows blown out of shed etc. waves crashing onto the rocks & up over the cars onto the road & houses opposite. The 'wet' you see on the road is from the waves. Somehow it doesnt look as bad in the photos as it really was. The cars were thickly encrusted with seasalt  Gale swept sea   Taken from inside - upstairs bedroom window, you can see the salt on the window  Thankfully although still bitter cold, much calmer now !

Stunning place you live Velvet! Must be awesome when angry and gorgeous when calm. Couldn't be much closer to the ocean unless you were on it. |

What a beautiful place to live but I have to say they pictures look scary enough for me.......nature in the raw. Exciting but terrifying. |
