Easter Monday

Hope you have all recovered from eating all your eggs.

Have sent information on radiator bleeding....to the party who enquired. Read your PM's hope it works

Off to buy slamming strip for the bedroom door and may try to complete the wallpapering in the loo. Next step paint the new door may leave that to Dad - he has an apprentice now in Lewis (my nephew who is 13).

Got to pop to Sainsburys or Asda in fact off now before the crowds hit.

Have taken Sal out already; she sleeps a fair bit more of late but is good in herself owtherwise.

Have a good day all.

Yola how is the kitchen coming on?

Re: Easter Monday

Hi Kazz and those to follow. Sounds like you have a busy DIY day ahead of you!! Hope you get everything done

Im at work on the late shifts this week so its going to be a long day as we will be quiet. Got my book ready though Had a lovely 11mile walk on Saturday as training for my walk later this month and then OHs folks for dinner last night. Nothing much really to report. Think i will also need to take Harris for a trip to the vet as i think his cystitis is back but going to post another thread for a bit of advice first.

Hope everyone has a lovely day

Re: Easter Monday

Afternoon all ........ sun is just beginning to put it's hat on here and things are brightening up. Put two new fat blocks out for the birds - there was a heavy frost again last night and the birds are still relying on extra rations. Cleaned out the cats' water fountain and found the a little plastic noggle (no idea what it should be called) that fits in the water reservoir has broken .... will be looking to see if I can get a spare somewhere online in a minute. The fountain seems to work without it but not sure how it will refill itself, will have to keep an eye on it.

Our roast duck legs were a big success yesterday and we will be having the others shredded with wraps, Chinese style tonight.

Kazz, if you ever find yourself without a DIY task, there's loads down here you could put your mind to!!!!

Have a good day folks.

Re: Easter Monday

Hiya all.

Shelley I do envy you when you say words such as "blast on the beach" what a lovely way to spend the day.
Pamela - poor Harris cystitis.....will look for the thread. Hope you enjoyed your meal at OH's parents.
Angie I adore duck legs...and the option of shredded Chinese style sounds brilliant too. Making me smack my lips.
