Wednesday daily

Morning everyone, i cant believe we went trhough yesterday without a daily!! Everyone must have been busy. Its wet and windy here so pretty miserable but it was like that yesterday then cleared up. Lovely in the evening but a bit windy, calm enough though for us to go out for an after work cycle of about 5miles to help with my training for sundays marathon walk!! If the weather picks up again tonight then we will go again, if it doesnt then i think OH still wants to go!!! I think im organised for the walk, i just need to get a band that goes round your head but it is designed to keep your ears warm instead of wearing a full hat so looking to pick 1 up.

Hope everyone is nice and cozy inside and lots of catsey hugs to all catsey pets.

Re: Wednesday daily

Morning! Not much to report here. My knee is still painful and swollen and am going to the osteopath tomorrow to see if he can relieve it and the boys are still off due to Easter hols.

I'm awaiting the Saniflo service man as our upstairs unit is playing up. I also need to get the electrician back in (2nd time) as the cooker socket and now the newly-fitted extractor socket keep packing up. Grrr.

I also need to contact Wickes as their 'designer' has mis-measured part of the kitchen and we're pretty certain the large larder units won't fit. Double grrrr.

Re: Wednesday daily

Sorry you're still in the wars Yola hope the osteopath can relieve your pain.

Pandora has had her spay done today, seems she was fully equipped and my vet also cleaned up her teeth under anaesthetic. Have to collect her at 4pm.

Pearla has been very quiet today and stayed out of the living room, as if she knows something is up. Posh has had us all to herself, and is loving it! Jealous old thing

The bedroom has been painted now, an eau de nil green colour, quite neutral, but restful. See you later.

Re: Wednesday daily

poor you Yola, not having an easy time of it. Hope the osteopath can help and that the other problems are resolved without any hassle.

I have been to the gym and aerobics which I do every Wednesday morning, afterwards walked the dogs. Pilates class is full this evening, so an evening in front of the TV methinks!

Re: Wednesday daily

Well looks like we are all moving in some way.

Here its cold and blowly to say the least, took Sal out but we did not go far about 1/2 hour and she was shattered today and breathing hard - she makes me think she is on her last legs - then bounces back. I think the tumour on her spleen/liver causes the odd issue at times but she is good other than odd days.

Anyhow as I am on holiday from work I have decided to become/stay active - I have been swimming this morning at 7am (adults only) Although I swim twice a week at that time when at work Monday and Sunday. Decided to go every.
Then came home put another line of washing drying well though if you secure it properly.
Then went for a walk through Sutton Park - out for under 2 hours and walked the 10km route. Felt good for it too even though windy, felt weird without the dog though.

Pamela the bike ride sounds good, training going well then?
A band that keeps ears warm rather than full hat sounds interesting I will look for one of those full hat makes me too warm but I hate cold ears I HATE COLD EARS. Just to make it clear

Yola I am with you on the knee issue I have decided too try to keep moving to ease the issue hence the walk. I have 3 elasticated bandages on to support it daily but hoping the swimming and walking mixed with bike rides will help. Have to admit to walking with a stick now though today but always really have when walking the dog - never used it though other than to hook the dog out of the odd river. but today used it - its the threat it will give way that bugs me most.
Saniflo do you find it as good as a normal loo?

P.P. Sounds like the its all normal now hope they will settle well.

Kim - a straight forward HELLO - nice to see you to see you nice.

To everyone have a good evening I may be aroud maybe not may go out on my bike too.
