Thursday daily

Morning everyone. Up early this morning due to Harris running about mad!! Not really much to report. Getting organised for work as im on the late start but thankfully this will be my last 1 as my new position doesnt work later than 530pm except when you do an 11-7 shift 2 days a week every 5 weeks!! It started off quite bright here but has dulled down a little.

OH also opened our livingroom curtains this morning to find a little face peering in!! It was Oscar!! Looks like he has been there all night. Didnt get the chance to give him anything though as he wandered off whilst i was feeding our 2. I have uploaded a photo of him in his post.

hope everyone has a good day and lots of catsey hugs to our pets

Hello everyone! Sorry I've not been around much lately, my computer problems are now on the way to being sorted (new monitor and new harddrive) still have a few software issues to solve but at least I can get online reliably again. I think I've missed quite a bit, but will catch up. I'm off to look for Oscar picture now.

Re: Thursday daily

Hello beautifully warm and sunny here. I went for my first ever mammogram today. HELL did it hurt! My Mum had told me that it did, but I had no idea it would actually make my eyes water

Speaking of my Mum, she's nearly at exchange of contract stage so hopefully within the month she'll have moved and be so much close to me. I'll feel extremely sad seeing my childhood home sold, but it will be reassuring to have her close by and it means OH and I will be able to avail ourselves of occasional grandma babysitting services

Cats are all good here - I left Ripsy outside as she didn't want to stay in (being an ex-stray I reckon she can look after herself in the garden for a day), but Myshka's firmly indoors despite his protests

Re: Thursday daily

Feeling for you Yola, it hurts bad. I am going for my smear this afternoon so can empathise- I hate those things, too.

Another sunny day, got most of the bedroom sorted and now have more clutter to take to the charity shop.

It's amazing how the cats have smelled Summer coming
Pandora has been wandering far and wide. Who is Ripsy? have I missed a new fur babe Yola
and I think Oscar is getting his feet under your table too, Pamela.

Have a good one all x

Re: Thursday daily

PP - Ripsy (or as I have since found out, Rippy), is a next-door-but-one neighbour's 'Moo-cat' who moved out of their house when their dog moved in. She hung around in the gardens and last summer the boys started playing with her and she gradually followed us in as summer turned to autumn.

She's a feisty girl all right

The boys recently started playing with the daughter of said neighbours who said one day 'your cat looks alot like the one we lost last year. She came to us as a stray so we thought she had just wandered off again'. Yikes!! I did stick a note through their door mid-autumn last year but obviously they didn't receive it. I do hope they don't think I've stolen their cat . . . haven't been around the claim her back tho.

Ripsy's intro is here . . . http://www.catsey.com/showthread.php...ighlight=ripsy

Re: Thursday daily

Thanks Yola, had a read through her story, she's a babe.

The neighbours seems pretty cool with the current set up and have enough on their hands I feel. If cats used iPhones, Posh and Myshka would be swapping such stories now

Re: Thursday daily

evening all, great to see you back Angie
Karen, i hope the scan on you're knee helps decide on a treatment.
Yola, cats could get us in trouble, swopping homes, lol
Pamela, you're new jobs sounds better hours for you.
PP, smears are horrible but neccesary things aren't they, hope all is well.
I've had a pretty bad day at work. I've been told that as from next week i'm working in another conductive group for further training which is good but i will miss the kids i work with now. I'm also to swop a conductive session to go into the nursery. This will allow a nursery member to experience conductive education but it's bad for me as i have spent most of my working life in nurseries and realy don't want to do it at all.
I was also treated very rudely by another member of staff, not for the first time i have to say.
This person is very up herself if you get my meaning, she was running hot water into the sink to wash her pots and moved away for a moment. I was leaving and wanted a quick drink, so i bobbed in and turned the cold tap on after removing it from over the bowl. I heard this voice saying OYYY, i need to get into the group, MOVE ! Honestly her tone of voice was so rude i was shocked and told her not to be so b....y rude, before leaving the building very quickly before i said more. i heard her shouting that she was only joking but there was no way she was.
I realy cannot stand rude behaviour like that, manners cost nothing.

Re: Thursday daily

Shelley - that sounds horrible. As you say, no need for rudeness. If only someone would tell my OH that . . .
