Friday on my mind

Good afternoon, it's been overcast here since this morning, still mild though. Took Pandora for the last of her jabs today, so that's her done for a year. Pearla is due in October and Posh next year- phew, think my vet will be glad to see the back of me

Apart from that, took Ceri to stroke club and I met an old colleague of mine from Maternity days, seems her hubby had a stroke in November, she feels alone and scared- I know that feeling so we've swapped numbers and I'll call her later.

Have a busy weekend, my SIL is 50 next Tuesday but we're having a gathering on Sunday, the day before, Saturday, her rugby team (Neath) are playing in the cup final against her husband's team (Pontypridd) - there will be rivalry like no other!!!

See you later.

How nice to renew a friendship......for a sad reason yet the outcome will become good.

I always struggle to understand what the difference in tyres are. And kinda rely on the price.
Percy is due two new tyre had two last year - which are on the front so will this year get two new and the from last year will go to the back and the new ones to the front. Or may lash out and get four brand new and keep the "new old in the garage and the other one as the spare. choices choices

Re: Friday on my mind

Shelley - I am sorry to read your job is altering slightly - hope you enjoy it as much the present role.
And with regard to you ill mannered colleague is she like that to everyone or is it just to you?
If it is too everyone I would just say its her loss she is a miserable soul,
if to just you either way I would speak to your boss. You could try mediating yourself or a one to one. Try something like "I do not appreciate being shouted at or spoken to in the way you do please stop or I will be taking it further"

You do not in any way have to be made miserable or uncomfortable in your workplace.

Re: Friday on my mind

Thanks Karen, i think she can be rude to others as well as me, i've heard her shouting at people if they use HER ??? water from the kettle, lol.
When she was rude to me once before i did mention to my boss who replied she felt it was unlike Emily ( i beg to differ ) A very naughty part of me wanted to knock her name badge down the side of the freezer where it would be lost for a good ammount of time, however proffessionalism overode my naughty thought, still there is always next week .
