Swirly Stormy Saturday

Hi Folks, the sky is ink black outside, it's 11 am and feels like 8pm. The wind is whipping around the bungalow- very soon we won't be in Kansas anymore

The rugby is on later, Ireland v Wales, then Scotland v England, I'm doing a sausage and colcannon meal for between the matches.

Hope you're all safe and warm. See you later x

Re: Swirly Stormy Saturday

Afternoon PP, Pamela and those to follow.

Thoughts also with farthing today.

It's bright and not raining just now although we have had some heavy squalls going through, one caught OH and the dogs out and they came home looking very wet and sorry for themselves. Dora has a cut paw again. I am looking at those disposable rubber booties and wondering if she needs some protection. There is a lot of flint around in this neck of the woods.

Hope all Catseyers are safe and dry. A friend of mine wrote off her car driving through a flood, she just didn't realise how deep it was - it was in an area she knew. Folk are having to go miles out of the way to get back to where they wanted to go to avoid closed roads, etc. Still, nowhere near as bad as the south-west coast. Counting blessings here.

Ironing (finally, I am doing it after years of refusal!) today done and I need to clean the bathroom, but that might now wait for tomorrow.

Have a good day folks.

Evening all are we quizzing tomorrow?

Had a lovely sleep today and still tired so back off again shortly.
Hope we are all safe and warm and dry.

Farthing - if you read this hope you are okay.
P.P Are you still with us in Kansas? I hope so I see England won there match - Yeah happier faces in the house now.
Pamela - How did your DIY go?
Angie ouch with Dora. Is there something you can put on her pads to toughen them up? Glad your friend is okay.
