Wailing wet Wednesday

The wailing came from Smudge when she came in soaked! It is raining, she doesn't like it and I am in MUCH trouble.
Not much to report here- still emailing schools- no response yet but Goggle analytics show that more people are looking at my website so fingers crossed. The cats are sulking in various different places waiting for the weather to improve or the food bowls to be filled.
Hope all are well.

Re: Wailing wet Wednesday

Afternoon CS, Shelley and those to pop on later. Another murky overcast day here, it's mizzled a bit but no "organised" rain, thank goodness. That term is odd, isn't it, "organised" rain .........

I am in the scriptorium again, having success so far with "I know a bank whereon the wild thyme blows ...." - a step up from my prototype lotus book, this one is getting MORE and has script; so far so good but I'm not counting chickens or violets yet! Thinking about the little ditty that goes with an ad on Classic FM - "Are you having any fun?" This morning, I yelled out "YES"!!!!

Kizzy has to go to the vet this afternoon for her vacs and annual check up. She is the most sensitive of our four furry folk and so I'm not looking forward to it.

May be called on for dog shuffling taxi duty later - atm OH is not sure he will be going because the forecast for this afternoon is horrid, but it may not come of course.

Have a good time folks, whatever you are up to.

Re: Wailing wet Wednesday

Good morning cats' staff, Shelley, Angieh and all to follow.Sorry about the various degrees of "mizzling" that you are experiencing.Hopefully it will clear for you soon. It's 2am Thursday morning here, and I have just woken up. Came home from work absolutely exhausted and after tea, fell into bed for just a' wee nap'. I'd still be asleep now if one of the cats hadn't jumped on me ,wanting its supper. Hope you hear back from schools soon cats staff. The waiting is always so hard. Poor Smudge . May her sulking pass quickly after a nice meal. Welcome home Shelley. Enjoy your work this afternoon and dream about your next break away . Angieh, lots of luck in the scriptorium. It must be so rewarding to be able to create something beautiful. I do hope poor Kizzy is OK this afternoon after her vacs, especially as she is so sensitive. I'm just heating my electric hottie up and then heading back to bed. It's meant to turn nasty here weather wise but so far, it's just chilly. Hope everyone has a lovely day and finds the time to do something they love.

Dinky good that you are able to go back to work but no wonder you are tired, take care
Angie, hope you have had a productive day in the scriptorium
CS, hope you get some responses from the schools soon
Work went well this afternoon, back home now.
I think the dogs went into a depression yesterday, i went to yoga in the evening and on my return wasn't greeted by Kwame. Now usually he's at the backdoor making a fuss of whoever has returned, Malaika doesn't bother with all that and remains curled up on the sofa.
I was surprised to see him lying on the sofa with his eyes shut, he didn't open them when i spoke to him, i then left the room and on my return he had his paw over his eyes. After i'd spoken to him again and shown sympathy he removed his paw and lay on his back to be tickled. The behaviour was so out of character that at first we thought he was ill. Wish he could understand that we will return to scotland soon.
