Re: chilly Thursday

Morning Pamela - glad you are all safe and secure and well wrapped! We have gales on the way here, forecast for later this afternoon and tonight. Wind is picking up now and I know that the pressure is down as my breathing is poor this morning, so I'll be taking it easy today and perhaps get my cards done.

Cuddles for Catsey cats and dogs from me. Keep warm and safe everyone.

Re: chilly Thursday

Hi folks!
It's raining cats and dogs here, well I'd prefer cats and dogs to this stuff, it's cold and wet and UGH!
Staying in like you Angie, and writing my cards too- great minds eh?
Phoebe is having dentistry next Monday, having all pre-op bloods done to make sure her vital organs are ok first. As a stray we don't know her history. Her breath is really bad now so needs one extraction and a full descale.
More ££ before Christmas and she's not insured yet
And I need my 2 front tyres replaced… Santa Baby leave a bag of £20's under the tree for me!

Poor Phoebe and your poor bank balance. Always happens at the worst time. Good to have the bloods done and I hope all will go well. She'll feel so much better and be less smelly!

Re: chilly Thursday

evening everyone, seems it's the day for getting cards done, lol
I did mine after returning from work.
Having a problem staying focused at the moment, on tuesday i left a carrier bag with some slippers i'd bought as a present in town and today i left my debit card in the reader in a shop.
Got both back now thank goodness.
Should have been taking Malaika to the specialist re her paws on monday, however they have got better so we have suspended the appointment.
Hope Phoebe goes on ok next week

Oh Shelley - these things happen! Just don't worry but take things steady and avoid the gin at lunchtime. (((HUGS)))

Re: chilly Thursday

Evening folks. Glad you got your card back Shelley, I've done that, very lucky to get it back.

Might get snow tonight, will see how it is in the morning before I venture forth to the meeting. Decided to save a bit of money this Christmas and I'm afraid 4 nieces and a nephew will not get a present. They are all the youngest ones but they all have so much stuff already I don't think they will miss mine.

Hope Phoebe is OK at the vets. Huggins has a little bit of a runny eye but I don't think its anything serious but will keep my eye on it.

Going to be cold here tonight so may have to break out the fleecy PJs. Need new nighties too. A visit to Primark is called for I think. Love that place!!

Re: chilly Thursday

Evening FM - can I recommend a used tea bag (cooled!) for Huggins' eye just in case. Great well used and well recommended standby, used for my dogs and cats in need.
