Up with the larks monday

Morning,
This morning we decided to get up very early and go to the nature reserve.
We were there at 4.00 am and heard the dawn chorus, sadly we didn't see the fox and Cubs but we heard her warning her Cubs so she no doubt saw/heard/smelled us.
We did see bats and birds and were surrounded by two duckling brood when we scattered bird food.

Re: Up with the larks monday

That is an early start Shelley. Would have been lovely to see the Cubs
I love watching bats fly about. Used to see them when I stayed at home with my folks. I am back to work today after a lovely week off. Short walk with the dogs this morning as Mia hurt her leg yesterday but seems a lot better today.

Hope you manage to get a snooze later in the day
