Monday daily.

Happy Monday morning Pamela, Shelley and anyone else who may look in. It's Monday evening here and all is well. Had beautiful warm weather today, odd for October and it looks as if we may be in for a very hot summer which I am not looking forward to at all. Oh well, I promise not to moan this summer about the heat.

Dickens went to the dog groomer on Saturday.I had to borrow my cousin's cat carrier as the door has fallen off my one. I can probably cable tie it back on, but have decided to buy a new one that is a bit bigger.Anyway, poor Dickens was in terror and when he got to the groomer ,he couldn't even stand up. he just went all limp and kept his head right down while she shaved his matts off his sides. When he got home, he disappeared under a bed and hid for a few hours but finally came out to have some tea.He doesn't look very good now as he has two shaved sides but at least he is more comfortable, and he has forgiven me for neglecting him. It'll NEVER happen again.

My leg is OK, a bit achy but I can handle that and don't really need the pain killers. I really wanted to go out for a walk today but didn't ,as I want to see what the specialist says first.I managed to clean out the linen cupboard though and chucked out some old sheets and pillowcases that had been there for years and were very thin.Gonna buy some nice 100% pure cotton sheets for my bed for summer but at the moment ,they all seem to be polyester which I find too hot.

SHELLEY,sounds as if you are looking forward to those dolls arriving. What are you going to do with them - do they need repairing or are they just going to be added to your collection ? I hope your blister is healing well and not giving you any pain.I bet it's a bit tender.

PAMELA, it sounds as if you have had a good weekend and even managed to get out on the motorbikes. Good for you. Dad must be pleased with his new wallpaper and it's great that you are able to be with him .I hope your nephew had a lovely birthday and that your takeaway meal was yummy.

Just had a call from my sister who is taking her cat, Eva ,to the emergency vet tonight.Eva is very old and hasn't eaten anything all day, just wants to lie down and sleep. She was fine yesterday and this morning , but tonight seems to have suddenly become unwell. Mary, my sister, doesn't want to leave her until tomorrow but has gone up to the emergency clinic now. She'll ring me back later tonight when she gets home. I hope Eva will be OK as she is a lovely cat.

Anyway, have a great day and try not to work too hard.

Love to all Catsey cats, dogs and their guardians.

Re: Monday daily.

Hi dinky,

Our weather was lovely as well yesterday that's why went out on the bikes. Apologies I thought it was snodgrass going to the groomers. Glad they were able to help Dickens. That's not good that your legs are still achy I do hope the specialist can advise.

I do like cotton sheets but as we are coming into autumn/winter it's the heavy quilt that will be staying on.

I am only working today and tomorrow this week as got a couple of days annual leave the rest of the week. My car is going to the garage again on Wednesday as it is getting the window motor repaired and its mot then it will be going up for sale. Also got the dentist tomorrow as for the first time in my life I have sore teeth/gums. I think it may be an abscess I have so hopefully it's just antibiotics and it will do the job as they cant do any other sort of treatment just now because of covid.

Shelley, how many dolls are you waiting to recieve? Do they need much repairs?

I better go as I am working just now lol!!
