Monday.
Good morning Pamela, Shelley and Yola.
Welcome to Monday morning and the start of a new week. It's Monday ,early evening here and it's been a nice day, not too hot, around 21 degrees. My back has been sore but I'll keep doing the modified exercises until I see the physio on Friday. I'm trying not to take the pain medication as it's very strong and makes me all dopey . Just wrapped up a couple of presents today, groomed all the cats (they were all looking really scruffy) scrubbed out the litter boxes and replaced all the litter. They all lined up to use the boxes as soon as I put new litter in. Tomorrow I'm going to clean out the china cabinet as it's starting to look a bit crowded.
PAMELA,I'm so pleased that your shops have now reopened. It's so nice to just go out and look around, even if you don't buy anything. I hope you had a nice time with your dad and sister yesterday and they liked their cards. I do know what you mean about being friendly but not socialising with your work crowd .Everyone has a life apart from work and it's good to keep the two separate, I have found. I've never been a friendly person and have always preferred my home and family and a few select friends as well as my own company and that of my pets .Fortunately, my work is in a very busy call centre and there really isn't much time for chatting.Perhaps you might be able to continue working from home in the spring - I do hope so.
SHELLEY, you must be very busy, but aren't you doing well ? Wow, now trained up to makaton Level 4. Congratulations. I do so hope that you get to become a tutor soon. I think you'd be a great tutor.I'm glad that you are still able to find the time for church activities and prepare those that are going to be confirmed. Hope you're still doing your Christianity course which I know you enjoyed .Good luck with your presentation next week.It will help you get through a sad week and it will be better to be busy. I guess you will be looking forward to your xmas break.
Oh yes, eye plants are exactly that - a plant with an eye. Think "cyclops". They are hand made plants in a pot (one per pot) Each has a furry wooden stem and the head of the plant is faux fur with a big coloured eye in the centre. They are quirky gifts for the person who has everything, and look super on a windowsill. Janna and my niece will love them for their bedrooms. A local lady makes them and I like to support our local small businesses if I can.
YOLA, I guess you must be counting down the days now until you have your xmas break. Not long to go now.
Well everyone, enjoy your Monday. I'm going to take the cats outside now. Stay safe and warm.
