New Years Day 2023

Good morning ladies.
I just want to wish you both a super New Year. Let's hope it's our best one yet.

I've just stayed home all day today. It's been hot, but not excessively so.My sister called in tonight with McDonalds for our tea. I haven't had McDonalds for months as I don't really like that sort of fast food, but it was really nice of her, and I must admit ,it was rather yummy. Janna and I are going to watch Bohemian Rhapsody again tonight after the cats have been out. Frederick has been terrible all day, jumping on top of poor Betsey. He walks the house yowling when he can't find her and it drives me mad She's starting to fight back now though, which is good and she tries to avoid him by sleeping on top of the cat tower

I've still got a few xmas gifts to put away ,but I'll do that tomorrow as I've got to find spaces for them. My cousin went to the casino tonight with her son and his partner Karyn, as it's Karyn's birthday today She said she'd ring me when she got home to tell me how she got on.

PAMELA, I hope you have a wonderful time at Glencoe with your dad today.and you're both able to relive many happy memories. What a shame your sister couldn't join you both there. I hope Mia was OK last night and not too frightened by the fireworks.. Steven's going to miss you today, but he's got the dogs and kitties for company

lShelley, I hope Chris' had a good appointment yesterday and treatment went well, and I also hope that Malaika had a great birthday yesterday and enjoyed her special dog biscuits that you made her.I do hope your pups weren't afraid of any fireworks you had also. So many animals are terrified every year by the stupid things. Don't know why they're not banned. We had a lot of fires due to them yesterday and several houses were lost. It's so pathetic.

Well ladies, have a really good day today and love to all Catsey pups, and kitties, not forgetting Loona and Reuben.of course. Let 2023 be a good year for them all.

Re: New Years Day 2023

Happy New year ladies.
We didn't have the best evening.
Dad was with friends and collapsed.
He's now in hospital waiting to see a Dr.
He's had a few episodes, the last was about 3 years ago.
Will be going to the hospital today.
Dad's friends have Reuben.
Dinky, how naughty is Frederick, hope he behaves today.
Glad you had a nice evening.
Pamela, have a wonderful day with your dad, hope the weather is kind to you.

Re: New Years Day 2023

Good evening ladies,

Dinky, glad you had a nice quiet evening. So etimes its nice to just sir and relax! Sometimes having something to eat that we haven't has in a while actually makes us enjoy it more! Glad you enjoyed your mcdonalds. Naughty Frederick jumping on Betsy. Best thing she can do is fight back as it's the only way Frederick will learn. I do wish Skye would do that with both Robyn and Harris to stop them bothering her. We are working with Robyn with her though.

Shelley, so sorry to hear your fad took ill. How is he now? I do hope he has been seen and is getting the care he needs. Wishing for a speedy recovery for him.

We had a lovely time in the hills. The snow was really deep when we got off the chairlift. Got some lovely photos as well. My cousin also came with us and it was lovvely to see him. Back hone now and had steak pie and chips for dinner. It was delicious! Sat reading Michelle Obamas 2nd book called The Light We Carry. Her first book was really good and Steven got me this one for Christmas so it's a nice quiet night for me with my book!
Take care ladies
