Rainy Tuesday.

Good morning ladies,
Tuesday morning around 11am here and it's a drizzly, cloudy day here ,although not at all cold. it's meant to come out sunny this afternoon, so hopefully I'll be able to hang a bit of washing out. I accidently poured soup all over my favourite sleep top last night ,so I need to wash that out and hopefully have it dry by tonight. I got woken up by a quake this morning that was centred close to here. At least it wasn't dark outside, as quakes and darkness make me freak out. I heard this one coming before it hit .We had one around the same time a couple of days ago as well. Poor Snoddy was terrified and jumped off my bed and hid in the spare room. I got up and stayed up as I was afraid we might have another one, but we didn't., thank goodness.

I'll go for a walk this afternoon, unless it's pouring with rain. My leg is very painful still, but my physio believes it is nerve pain coming from my back. I do agree with him that it is not my knee that is the problem. My knee actually seems to be healing well now ,so I guess my body is accepting the new implant. I am still seeing my surgeon before xmas and not really looking forward to that. My own doctor wants to see me as well, so I'll be seeing him on Friday.

Those blasted calendars !!!I haven't got them yet but I'm still going to send you one each, and I'm going to get one too, as it is Harry, after all. I'm just so sorry they're not going to be perfect for you both. They will still be useable anyway. The printer won't print any more as he's claiming it wasn't his fault - he did send a proof to the hospital for approval and the hospital told him to go ahead with printing the rest. Nobody thought to check the dates. were correct. They just looked at the pictures of Harry.

Chicken kebabs for tea tonight. Not sure what I'll have with them yet.

PAMELA., I've been thinking of you both when I heard about storm Bert on the news and hoping you weren't getting it bad. The pictures on the news were awful. I wonder if the storm is causing your snow now ?No, I've never liked driving in snow either. Thank goodness for Steven, eh? I'm glad your girls don't mind it though. Willow hated it and would stand at the door and snarl at it to chase it away. When she had to walk in it ,she walked very very gingerly, and she looked ridiculous. Did you manage to get to your favourite place for your take out dinner last Saturday? At least if you did manage to get there, it's wouldn't have been cold. I'm so pleased that you enjoyed The Corrs last week too. I bet Steven enjoyed them as much as you. It always makes you feel good after listening to music that you love. - gives you a real buzz. AND you'll be looking forward to going away with your sister and niece soon - I hope you get some decent weather and have some relaxing sisterly time together. Also, I need the COLOUR for those slippers !!! You have a great week, my friend, and hopefully that storm will move away soon.

SHELLEY,, I do hope that you are not being badly affected by Bert at the moment and that you and Howard and Chris are managing to stay nice and cozy. I bet you're probably busy with doll fairs at the moment. How is your xmas shopping going? Unlike me, I bet you and Pamela are all up to date with everything. It puts me to shame. As soon as I get these Harry calendars, I'll send them off to you and Pamela. I'm just so sorry that they are not going to be perfect, but at least you'll be able to see Harry who was so "kind" to me during my hospital stays. I've also got a few of my famous scrubbies to send to you both. I knitted them a while ago and they're brilliant for washing pots ,pans and anything else. See what you think of them. Hope the pups are doing well.

Well ladies,, I'm off now to wash my sleep top. The rain seems to have stopped. Janna is down at the mall buying some birds bread. She won't be long. She's not working tonight so I've have some company.

Have a good Tuesday ,Pamela and Shelley.
