Thursday Daily.

Good morning Pamela and Shelley,
Thursday, nearly 1pm here and it's cloudy but not raining like it has been the past few days. Sophie, my cat groomer is still not over her bout with kidney stones so hasn't been to shave the cats yet. Janna has been trying to get some of their knots off them and they look very patchy at the moment. I think it's too cold to shave them at the moment anyway. I haven't been doing anything at all. My New Year didn't get off to a very good start with my fall down the front steps at the end of December - and I hadn't even been drinking!!!. My leg just gave way on me. Luckily all my judo training kicked in and I was able to twist around to fall on my side. I did break my wrist and hit the side of my face and eye, so I'm looking all bruised and battered, but I didn't hit my knees, thank goodness. The doctor at the hospital said that I had a mild concussion as well, but luckily I never had a headache at all. I can now open my right eye a little, but it is an amazing shade of purple.. Unfortunately, I haven't been outside the house since and I have really lost my courage at walking. I'm back to using one crutch for support and as I only have my left hand, I have to use it on my left side but it's the right side I want to use it on. I know it's not god to just sit all day, but I've got a real dread of going out now. Janna is being really good and I've got Asha typing this out for me. Typing with one hand is so tedious. !!! Anyway, that's enough about me. As they say, things can only get better.

I have your Harry The Burwood Hospital Cat calendars here for you, but I'm afraid Janna will have to send them for me as I really can't face going to a Post Shop. looking like this. I will make sure I have addressed them correctly and get Janna to check.!!!

Our ducks and Enzo the magpie are all paying regular visits. No baby magpie though. I watch them feeding from the window. That magpie is so beautiful.

Brenna has got us some frozen meals so we don't have to cook tea at night. It's really good of her but Janna is perfectly happy to cook as well, so I'm going to tell Brenna to stop buying them now. Janna has taken some more time off work so she is here at night, but I've told her that I'll be fine on my own. She's not convinced though. I'll wait until my face heals up, and then I'm going to have to force myself to go outside again, otherwise I'll never do it.

PAMELA, wow, so you're getting snow at the moment - there's something really magical about snow. Well you'll be back at work now, my friend, so I hope you're feeling nice and relaxed after your break.Did Steven and Robyn have a super birthday on the 8th? I'm sure Steven liked his drill bits and Robyn will look very beautiful in her new harness and lead. Has the shark toy been ripped to shreds yet or is it still intact?I hope Mia got a bit of a chew of it as well. Please wish your niece a very happy birthday on Friday. I'm sure she will adore the gifts that you have got for her. I hope she has a lovely day.AND you are going to sell your house in the next few weeks. How exciting (and a bit scary) for you both, Pamela.I do hope everything goes smoothly for you and you find the perfect new home.

SHELLEY, wow, you're getting sunshine while Pamela gets snow. Polar opposites. You'll be back from your trip to the van now and back at work no doubt, so I hope all is going well there.Malaika is now 15 years old - congratulations Malaika. I hope she had a wonderful day and was spoiled, as every dog should be Those duck spring rolls sound amazing - I bet she enjoyed .them. Are they made specifically for dogs? Are you still doing your Bible course? Mine is still ongoing and yes............I'm still on Exodus., but nearly finished. Luckily I can write with both hands, so am just finishing off my last lesson using my left hand I'm pleased that your dad is OK and enjoying life with Jet.

Well ladies, my young typist is complaining of sore fingers!!!. I'll let you so to enjoy your Thursday. Hope the weather is fine for you both, and that you're keeping warm and cozy. I'm going to go and listen to some music Creed I think.

Have great Thursday Pamela and Shelley

Re: Thursday Daily.

Good morning dinky,

Lovely to see you posting again we have missed you.

Sorry to hear you haven’t been out but I can understand why. When I had 2 black eyes after breaking my nose I was very much the same!

Lovely to hear the ducks and enzo are back. Will be nice to sit and watch them.

Shelley I hope everything is good with you and your family and pups. How is work going?

We are going to drive about different areas today to get an idea of possible move areas. Not exactly sure where we want to go do this is a good way to have a look. Also going to look at some new build houses as well.

Have a lovely weekend ladies
