He was to be a show cat..but broke his tail,so was put into rescue....

If you look at his tail,it has a kink at the end of it.The previous owners just didn't want him .

I saw the kink but Sylvester, one of mine has a kinked tail so it is nothing out of the ordinary for me. Like Mags says it just adds to their charm and own individuality!
