Their claws are so sharp at that age aren't they and your right.....they certainly don't do the furniture any good.

I've still got a job with Cassie scratching the wallpaper.....and she's got a nice scratching post too

Ours is a very old house so the walls are not in the best of condition for painting It would mean stripping it all back to the brickwork and replastering......and I don't think I could stand all that mess
