The other thing that I read which surprised me, was the siamese was used originally to produce colour point persians... I do love persians, but the coat care put me off a bit, Merlin has a very dense coat and I can brush him everyday and still loads of fur comes out... |

Yes siamese were used for the breeding to get colourpoint. Persians have been used in other breeds to add point to them to.The most common colour for Persians were Blue.Its now the one colour you dont see so many,everyones (including me) are into Bi-colour ,colourpoints etc |

waiting for Saffy to come in season(my avatar is her).Cant wait to see what she has as it will be an unknown quantity.She will be going to my Ozzy whos Black/White.Were starting a new breeding programme which isnt recognised here in the uk.My intention is to breed an Odd eyed Bi-colour but this will take a few years.I like these very exciting |
