I do know the micro chips can migrate to other parts of the body Jac I always have my dogs scanned at booster time to make sure the chips are still where they are meant to be |

The only reason it could pop out is if it hasn't been inserted properly. I've been microchipping for years now & never had a problem with any chips I have inserted, (touch wood!) but have known people to be not very confident with the gun & not insert the chip correctly under the skin - |
